919-920-6367/ Princeton, NC 27569 These rabbits are as close to a wild rabbit "look" as you can get but raised in your backyard. For those who will use as meat, these are medium sized rabbits, 4-6 lbs, and have more "meat" on them than wild

rabbits and a less gamey taste as well as no parasites to be concerned with. We breed 10 does on rotation, usually 5 at a time. We try not to keep too many kits at one time for health reasons and try to keep the does fit. Rabbits are bred primarily for the spring/ fall but we have them through the winter if it is not too harsh. There will be limited amounts of kits (less than 3 months old rabbits) available. We have been raising this "breed" of rabbit since March 2009. These rabbits, when small, make good live food for reptiles. Larger rabbits can be used for raw feeding. All bred rabbits took, a lot of new babies this week! These will be ready in April.

Rabbits have finally decided to be bred. If they took, spring should be good to go. I guess the somewhat longer day has helped!

This seems to be resolved. Note- Do not give me grief about the availability of rabbits. I work and this is basically a hobby. The rabbits become dinner sometimes - they're not just for training.
