Legislative update Feb. 2024:

Our legislation got held up in subcommittee and didn’t make it to the floor for a vote. This will likely end our legislative pursuit for 2023/2024 session. We will regroup in the fall and prepare for the 2024/2025 session. This is a huge disappointment but we are still hopeful and excited to have made it this far.

We would like to thank all our supporters and our industry partners. Florida Veterinary Medical Association, American Veterinary Medical Association (AVMA), National Association of Veterinary Technicians in America (NAVTA), and so many others.

Dewey Maddox, FVTA President
