AKC German Wirehair Pointer kennel The dogs are breed to have an outstanding nose and second to none prey drive.

Rum River Wirehairs is offering 2 or 3 litters a year, using a proven bloodline that features some of the best bloodlines within the breed. Our dogs are expected to have great drive and will be loaded with natural ability. The dogs are excellent swimmers making a morning duck hunt or an afternoon of pheasant hunting a great success. Dogs have shown great retrieving desire, and are all around very

easy to train. Dogs desire is to please their owner which makes them fun to train. We have been breeding German Wirehairs for over 10 years, and have built a solid bloodline foundation. These pups are bred to the Max, taken consideration to make great family dogs that will exceed in the field. We have brought bloodlines in from all over the country and world to continue this great breed.

We are so proud of Alicia and her dog Fig!!! An amazing dock jump of 25’ and first place at the Game Fair!!!! Congratulations on all the hard work and riasing such an amazing dog. He is only 1 years old, wait until next year 🙂

Zoey and Nitro had 5 males and 3 females. Mom and pups are doing great. Snuck a quick picture last night of the little monsters. Already have grown so much.

We have all 3 females available, so first pick female

September 28th take home day.

Also the game fair starts this weekend!!! We love to see everyone and the pups, stop in and say Hi if you go.

Hey Everyone, going to put this out there one last time before I keep him and do a started dog. Male Pudelpointer, he has crazy bird drive already, was running through 3’ tall cover with zero cares. If you are looking for a hunting dog this guy is the real deal.

If he does not find a home this weekend I will have him available later this year as a started dog.
