My first hand spun huacaya fleece! Spun up the white and thought plying it with fawn would be fun. Next step is to paint it!

Our new guard dog, Brinks, meets his new farm friends. Brinks will be guarding the chickens and dogs that live outside the fence line. Brinks is looking forward to being taller the the Jersey Giant Rooster (Black Bart).

Very happy with my hand painting job today. Yarn is a blend of a LF Huacaya (Misty Dawn) and a MB Huacaya (JOA), with 10% white merino. I used 4 different colors of blue dye and added a little gray dye. This project is for a good friend, Stuart Orton-Jones in Great Britain. He has requested an 8ft long scarf to be made out of this yarn. Those crazy Brits. . . .

I'm running out of yarn to dye! Waiting for my next order to arrive.

Welcome Firefly! Our newest baby girl. Born Sept 4th. She's a tiny little 12.8 pounder, but she is full of herself and very confident about life! Her mama is Elizabeth.

Baby (Letter A) is another beautiful boy! We're on a roll - 4 babies this year and all of them males! At least they are all beautiful. Mama is Sahalie of Kestrel Meadows and sire is Victor's Julius.
