Pups out of Boyd & Beth should hit the ground around Nov 10th. I have 6 spoken for but Beth’s line generally throws 8 to 10 pups so I will take deposits on 2 more then post the rest later if there is any. $700. $150 deposit. Dm me or call 5414203322. These dogs both do it all on bear and bobcat.

I’m getting ready to make a cross out of my old man Boyd and my really nice female Beth. I’ve had Boyd around for a long time and he has been one of the nicest hounds I’ve ever hunted behind and he has also sired several nice pups. Beth is a nice all around hound by far my fastest and trees a majority of the game I run ahead of my other dogs. She was a slow starter as a pup but when she clicked she was almost instantly a finished dog. Both dogs were natural locate and tree dogs on cat. Pups $600. I will require a $150 deposit. I hate to but to many people flake out last minute after I tell others that they are spoken for. DM for more info.

I can’t believe it’s been 6 years. I still think about you everyday. Every time I walk to a tree I feel your presence around me and think of everything you’ve taught me . I will forever be thankful to have had you in my life.

I took Rumor on her first bobcat hunt today. She had fun but said she likes bears better and she’s not going hunting again until the snow goes away and the bears come out!

Another OUSDA field trial is in the books. It was a great time and great to see everyone there. Our dogs ran good and we even won a buckle with Lew dog, whom I bought from Brock Steele earlier this year. It was nice to win some stuff but I have to say the best thing about this field trial and all trials, are the people! I know so many houndsmen that don’t like them and that’s fine, however, there is no other place you can go and hang out with like minded people. If any of you are on fence about these events or nervous or scared of being embarrassed, don’t be. We have all had our ups and downs at these things and if you don’t want to run your dogs, just come hang out and support our organizations because all the money goes towards supporting our sport. Some of the best friends I have today I have met at these trials. I have traveled up and down the state and to several other state’s hunting and 90% of those trips and friendships started at a field trial.

Thanks again to everyone who attended and supported. Can’t wait to see you and hopefully many more next year.
