Just a reminder we will be closing tomorrow Tuesday 12/24/24 at 3:00 pm and we be closed Wednesday 12/25/24 and Thursday 12/26/24 for the Christmas Holiday. If are needing a medication refill please contact us today, 12/23/24, as we require 24hr business hours for completion. We also do not check messages when we are closed. We will be back in the clinic on Friday 12/27/24 at 8:00 am.

Just a reminder we do have a cancellation policy:

Cancellation Policy

At Crooked Tails Veterinary Clinic, we understand circumstances can change, and we request clients notify us at least 24 hours in advance if they need to cancel or reschedule an appointment. This allows us to manage our schedule effectively and offer the time slot to another patient in need. For Monday appointments, cancellations must me made by noon on the Friday before the appointment.

Contact can be made by phone 541-362-8666, leaving a voicemail or emailing us at [email protected].‎‎

Cancellations or rescheduling with less than 24 hours notice will result in being charged a booking fee to schedule your appointment. This booking fee will be applied to your
reschedule appointment.

Please note we consider exceptions for unavoidable emergencies on a case-by-case basis.‎ ‎

We still have several gift 'wish' tags on our tree here at Crooked Tails Vet Clinic. These items will be donated to Humane Society of the Ochocos. All donations are tax deductible. We will be keeping the tree up until 1/1/25.

The cute kitten in the picture is 'Lara', she is currently available for adoption at the Humane Society of the Ochocos. She is quite the cuddle bug and would love to find her furrrrever family.

If you are not able to give financially they are always in need of volunteers and fosters.

Tis the Season of Giving:

Humane Society of the Ochocos is in need of the communities help. We have a Giving Tree here in the lobby of the clinic this holiday season, with gift tags for items that will benefit the shelter animals. You may drop these items off at the shelter directly or here at the clinic.

If you would like to make a monetary donation please go to their website www.thehso.org or in person at the shelter which is located at 1280 Tom McCall Rd, Prineville. They are still raising money to complete the new shelter building. Which is desperately needed.

If you are interested in becoming a volunteer or fostering dogs or cats, they are always in need. Please contact Jessica at the shelter 541-447-7178 or by email [email protected] if would like to help.

We are very grateful and thankful for each and everyone one of our clients and patients. We appreciate anything you are able to do to help Humane Society of the Ochocos.

We are seeing too many 'No Show' appointments and surgeries occurring lately. When this happens this takes away an appointment time for another patient in need of care. Please call us or email us, even if it is the same day, as soon as you know you will not be able to make your appointment.

Just a reminder that there is quite a bit of road work here in Prineville. On Friday August 9th, Maple St (the street on the West side of the clinic) will be completely closed for paving. There may be sections of NW 2nd St that are blocked, if there is someone at the road blocks please let them know you are coming to the clinic for appointments.

Please give yourself extra time to arrive for your appointment.

You can now get to the clinic but there is no parking on Maple St.
