The Clash of Chukars - Gun Dog Challenge was successful this past weekend! Danielle placing first with Molly in Ladies Pointer and also placing first with Betty in Ladies Flusher! Monah has been running in Puppy Pointer and showing us great potential! Trace got out after a long break from tournmant runs and ran in Open Doubles Pointer with Shelby! It was a great weekend with a great turnout! Check out that honor while clearing the fields!

Next tournament is February 10th and 11th, come out to watch or try running! We would love to see familiar faces and dogs!

Franny, Trace and Faye on some wild birds today! These dogs worked their hearts out. Truly, the fun part of hunting isn’t harvesting birds, it’s watching these dogs work!

The best time of year is here! 👏🍂Time to gather your friends, family and dog(s) and hit the fields. We are very happy to announce we officially have pheasants in at the club.

The Minnesota Horse and Hunt Club is a game preserve with nearly 600 acres and 10 hunting fields, open to Full Hunt members and their guests. To schedule your hunt or learn more call the clubhouse at 952-447-2272.

Our pickups today hanging outside waiting for their parents to pick them up after their baths! Soon it’ll be too cold out to do this, so we take advantage of these kennels while we can!

Meet Rio!

Birthdate: 4/19/2019
Rio is a guide dog at MHHC and has experience on pen raised and wild birds. He has been professionally trained; obedience, bird and gun, forced fetched and collar conditioned. He is really driven to hunt but really just wants to please his handler; he has started to become very laid back the more he has matured. He would do great with a family that enjoys to be outdoors and especially with someone who hunts. Would do fine with the right multi dog home, but would work well as a singular dog as well. We are looking for a home for him that is located near
MHHC in which he can be brought back for use as a stud dog in our breeding program. We hope to keep him intact and retain ownership of his breeding.

Birthdate: 4/19/2019
Walter is a guide dog at MHHC and has experience on pen raised and wild birds. He has been professionally trained; obedience, bird and gun, forced fetched and collar conditioned. Has a lot of drive to hunt and work. Loves retrieving in water. We love him at the kennels, he has spunky fun personality and only wants to please. Would be best for a family who has an active lifestyle who enjoys hunting. Would work well with the right multi dog home, but would do fine as a singular dog as well.
Walter is intact but we have not and will not be using him in our breeding program so you can choose to neuter.

We have been so busy lately, we forgot to post about sending Maggie x Rio puppies home almost two weeks ago now! We are so blessed to have a practically full kennel for the last couple of months!

We loved this litter so much……we did keep one female! Keep an eye out for a proper announcement and introduction!
