I hope you all have had an amazing summer!
This summer was by far my favorite summer I’ve ever had soaking in all my baby boys newborn snuggles! 🥰 He is already 7 weeks old and I am already back to work and grooming your fur babies in 3 weeks! 🤯
To all the parents that told me time flies even more when you have children, you weren’t lying! I cannot believe how fast the weeks have gone by since he’s been here.
I just wanted to give an update about my schedule and upcoming appointments/availability!
At the moment I am completely BOOKED for appointments in October/November, and there is very LIMITED availability for December! I posted about this in my previous maternity leave posts, but going forward, my schedule/hours have changed and I have limited availability due to childcare for my baby boy. What I have available online when you are looking for appointments is what I will have available. For this reason I am HIGHLY highly recommending that you prebook out as MANY appointments for those fur babies as you can! 👏🏻 My schedule is out until September of next year (2025) already so if there is a time of day or day of the week that works best for you, please book asap!

OFFICIALLY on maternity leave! 🤰🏻🥹✨
What a way to start my leave by opening up this beautiful surprise of being voted in the Best of the Best grooming category again! I had no idea I was nominated you guys! Thank you SO much from the bottom of my heart! The tears are flowing today! 😭❤️✨
I am feeling completely honored and grateful to have so many clients that have truly turned into amazing friends over the past 4 years. When I started my own business, I never expected to build the kind of relationships that I have grown to have with so many of you! So thankful for your love, loyalty, and support through the years, and as I now take time to start my family 🥰
I couldn’t do this without you guys and Knotty Dog wouldn’t be what it is today without you! 🫶🏻
To all of my clients over the past 9 months that have showered me and baby boy with gifts and cards, well wishes and advice, or just simply asking how I am feeling, please know I will never forget how so beyond blessed & loved you have made me feel, and I am forever thankful for all you guys have done for me + baby! 😭🤰🏻
So this is just “goodbye” for now, but know I will be back ready to groom & love up on those dirty, Knotty Dogs in just 3 months! 🥰🐶✂️🛁

Hi everyone! 👋🏻🐶
I just wanted to post a quick update for you guys as I am nearing the last 2 months of my pregnancy! 🤯🤰🏻 At the moment my schedule until I have it closed off for my maternity leave at the end of June is completely BOOKED! There are a couple random times I may have available on there for nail trims and baths but other than that I am fully booked up!
You guys were really on top of getting preschedule! 👏🏻 With that being said, if you were hoping to get in one more time before I’m out, I do still get random cancellations or I may be able to squeeze you in on an evening or Saturday so please send me a text at 952-221-8194 and I will see what I can do! ☺️🐶
A couple of IMPORTANT things:
1. I would HIGHLY recommend to all of my clients that have appointments scheduled after JUNE 16th to have a back up appointment scheduled with another groomer JUST IN CASE as I will be considered full term at that time and baby boy could make his arrival any day after that and I would hate for you guys to be out of a groom for a long time because it’s groomers busy season!
2. As long as I continue to have a healthy pregnancy and baby boy stays cooking until his due date (July 15th🤞🏻), I do plan to work day to day until I am in labor! So with that being said I don’t have my online schedule open for those days but if you would like me to add you to a list to get in the first few days of July, send me a text! I will also post day to day openings as it gets closer! 🐶🛁
3. I will be holding my cancellation policy strictly in place from now going forward. I have been very lenient with cancellations and rescheduling as I know life gets crazy and things happen, but please understand if there are any cancellations less than 24hrs or no shows that you will be charged 100% for the service. This is not personal, just a policy I need to hold myself accountable to. Thank you so much for understanding 🫶🏻

I can’t believe how fast these past months of pregnancy have gone and I feel like I already miss you guys so much! 😭🥹🐶
I am so excited for my son to be here and to have the opportunity to take an amazing maternity leave with him, but just know I will be missing you and your fur babies so much! I truly love my job and time spent with your fur babies, and grooming your dogs is such a passion of mine that it will be so different to navigate wanting to be with you guys full time and with my new baby full time. As I transition into this new role of being a mama for the first time, I can’t thank you all enough from the bottom of my heart for your continued outpour of support and love for me and Knotty Dog Grooming! 🥰🥹🐶

I just wanted to post an update about my maternity leave and schedule! (**longer post but please read & let me know if any questions or concerns ☺️)
My current schedule will remain the same until I take my leave the 1st week of July, and I will be offering as many Saturday options as possible going forward to get as many of you guys in before I am out on maternity leave. If there isn’t a date open you are looking for, please feel free to text me and I will do my best to accommodate for you! With that being said, I looked at my schedule this morning and it is already quickly filling up with limited appointment options from now until June! So please, please, PLEAAAAASE take some time to plan out your appointments as soon as possible so you can make sure you’re all set to go until I’m back in the salon!
When I come back in September, it will just be Fridays and Saturdays available. Once I’m back full time in October, my schedule will be permanently changed to:

Sunday: CLOSED
Monday: CLOSED
Tues/Wed/Thurs: 9-3:30
Friday: 9-1
Saturday: 9-1

Going forward with the child care we have chosen, I am not going to be open evenings past 3:30 to accommodate for when I’m needed to pick up my son. I know this may be an inconvenience for some of you guys and I greatly apologize for any conflicts this brings you. My hope is the Saturday option available will help compensate for evenings not being open, but if you’re ever having trouble finding something that works for your schedule, please ALWAYS feel free to text me and voice your concerns as I will absolutely do my best to get you guys in for what works best for you! 🫶🏻

Hi everyone! 🥰
For those who I am not friends with on my Aubrey Ruehling page, we have some exciting news to share… Baby Ruehling coming July 2024! ✨
We are SOOO excited for this next chapter of life and to be a mom and dad!
With that being said, I wanted to make sure I gave you guys plenty of time to plan ahead and know what’s to come for my grooming availability next year.
At the moment, my current plan is that my LAST DAY OF WORK before maternity leave will be SATURDAY JUNE 29th! And the current plan is to return the FIRST WEEK of OCTOBER! This is all of course subject to change on when baby decides to come and how my maternity leave goes. I plan on coming back part time to ease back in, but will plan to be back up and full time running before the holiday season next year! (Crazy to think about that 🤯)
**if you currently have an appointment that you already prebooked after June 29th-October 1st, please know that you will receive a cancellation text or email within the next week or so!**
For now I am just going to leave booking available through June 29th and once I figure out child care for our little one, I will open my books up in October through the rest of the year.
As I know more and figure out more of a set plan I will update you guys as soon as possible! ✨

Exciting ✨ANNOUNCEMENT!!!✨
My ONLINE BOOKING website is OFFICIALLY LIVE! 🙌🏻😍🐶🛁✂️

A few things to note:
*Please make sure to READ ALL SERVICES carefully before selecting which service so that way it is the correct one for your dog! There are multiple to choose from for baths and haircuts.
*It will ask you to put a card on file as this helps protect me from “No Show” appointments! It does NOT charge you anything when you book the appointment. It will only charge if you no show your scheduled appointment.
*For now I will still only be accepting payment via Venmo, paypal, cash or check. If absolutely needed we can charge your card on file for your appointment.
*At this time I do not have a multiple pet selection for services so for now, if you have more than one dog, just schedule them one service per pet. As always, please bring all pets at the SAME time. If you have any questions with this please let me know and I will help!
*Grooming prices have taken a slight increase and you will see the new prices listed next to the groom you select.
*I may still reach out once you schedule an appointment to see if you can come at different times or days to help my schedule flow better each day as I will be trying to adjust going from a written planner to an online calendar.
