We are thrilled to announce that we have a new GROOMER! 🥳Amanda comes to us with many years of experience and will be grooming Monday - Fridays.

From Amanda: "Hi, my name is Amanda. I started grooming in 2007 because I wasn’t allowed to have dogs growing up so I figured I would get some dog loving in while at work. I eventually convinced my mom it was a prerequisite, and I ended up getting a little mutt named Scrappy! I currently have a goldendoodle named Darla and a spicy little Yorkie named Judy. I would say my grooming specialty are Shih Tzu’s but some of my favorite haircuts start with “this might sound crazy but…”. In my free time I like all things crafty, and spending time with my family at the arcade."

Newt has reached the milestone of 11 years old today!!! 🥳❤️ River Valley Groom and Board is thrilled to give a huge birthday shoutout to this exceptionally handsome and loving boy. When Newt attends daycare, his favorite activities include playing with tennis balls, which he meticulously holds in his mouth. Bailey and Buster, two extremely affectionate and loving boy cats, are currently undergoing extended boarding at River Valley Groom and Board while their owners are away. These cats are remarkably active. They make the most of their time outside their cat condos. Their favorite activities include climbing the shelves in the cat room, shredding paper towels from the dispenser, cuddling with each other, and receiving abundant love and attention from our staff. We have been thoroughly enjoying our time with Bailey and Buster. 🐱❤️

Today is Lily’s special day!! 🥳 River Valley wishes you a very Happy Birthday! In Lily’s spare time she enjoys working out, cooking, hiking, reading, photography and spending time with her handsome dog Poncho (who’s an Australian Cattle Dog mix). 🐶 Her favorite vet med memory is watching Bruce try to fish out foreign bodies with an endoscopy claw and also watching dentals too! specific anatomies of 200 AKC certified breeds. l am S.A.F.E certified and opaws trained. I also groom cats! I bring a unique style of grooming with an artistic and creative approach, ensuring
stylish and happy clients! One of my favorite hobbies includes realism artwork; my artwork inspires me every day both in the grooming salon and out in the real world. I can't wait to meet you all and you’re amazing pups! Stop in and say hi!"
