Have you heard that cats can help tutor your kids in reading? 📕
Many shelters, rescues, cat cafes, libraries are all reaching out the the experts of quiet time to help children practice their reading skills in a safe environments.
Admittedly these programs may contain both cats and/or dogs for the "listeners" or "tutors" but at Keep Up Creations we can with certainty, that nothing goes with a good book like a cat, some "fresh hot biscuits", and a Henry's Cat Nap Mat (or fuzzy blanket in a pinch).

Whatever the situation, to all who are receiving care & love from a Mom, today we stand with you and say "Thanks mom! We wouldn't have made this far without you."

We don't usually talk about this much, but this Monday we are:
All the Keep Up Creations humans have worked as cat fosters, worked at animals shelters, pet transportation, worked with pet rescue groups and/or as support for those who do. When you work in pet rescue situations, you see a lot of ugly. You feel a lot of failure. You chose heartache & heartbreaking situations, because there are animals who deserve to know Love while they're still here on this Earth (however long or short that ends up being). 🤍

So if you see us surround by cats, making fresh handcrafted cat toys, talking about cats (and many other pets & working animals!), and maybe it seems a little silly to you... We're okay with that. 😽

As matter of fact we'd be grateful to bring a little more silly into the world. A little more playtime, and a little more peaceful, secure, loving rest times. That would be the greatest gift we could bring to pets & pet owners at this time in our lives.
We'd be happy to see that happen.
We'd love just to see you happy 🐾

The very fact that they stay up half the night managing mischief throughout the house, just so that they can be adorable sleeping cat loaves throughout the day is mind bending. In fact it has us wondering ... did cats invent today's holiday just to celebrate their own adorableness? Welcome to National Sleeping in Public Day.

The best way to celebrate this national holiday is to visit some purrfessionals at your local animal shelter, cat cafe, or favorite animal foster family, and then share those aww-inspiring cat photos.
