🐾 Welcome Home, Freya! 💕

After adopting Freya, her new pet parents wanted to make sure she was settling in healthy and happy — so they brought her to UrgentVet Prosper for a Peace of Mind Exam.

Our team gave Freya a gentle nose-to-tail check, reviewed her health records, and answered all of Mom and Dad’s questions. Thankfully, this sweet girl got a clean bill of health and plenty of snuggles from our staff! 🩺🐶

Bucky came in recently with some pretty bad tummy troubles. His family noticed he wasn’t eating like usual and seemed uncomfortable — so they brought him to UrgentVet Prosper, where our team got right to work!

After a gentle exam, bloodwork, some fluids, and a little TLC, we are happy to hear that Bucky perked up in no time. 💧🐾

Mushroom season is here - and that means extra caution for pet parents. 🍄🐾

Many wild mushrooms are toxic to dogs and cats, and it’s not always easy to tell which are dangerous. Ingestion can lead to serious symptoms like vomiting, seizures, or even organ failure.

Here’s how to keep your pet safe:
Remove mushrooms from your yard as soon as you see them
Keep pets leashed during walks or outdoor play in wooded areas
If you suspect your pet ate a mushroom, seek veterinary care immediately
