Somehow, Winnie always knows what time to expect her favorite girl home from work. Too cute.
We had the privilege of watching Moose from Sadie's Night before Christmas litter for a few days last week. Moose fit right into the pack and a good time was had by all! He is Winnie's brother from the same litter. It was fun to watch them run and play together and for Lillie to join in.
Checking in with sweet Remy (formerly Peony from our May Flowers litter). Look at this beautiful girl with her brother Ripley. They are already inseparable and it looks like Ripley is a very patient boy!

Dandelion has finally made it to his forever home! His name is now Knox and he traveled yesterday to Birmingham, AL to bring all the joy and puppy fun to our dear friends, the Wichlans. We are so excited for them all and look forward to hearing about all their adventures together.

Lily here! Just checking in to let everyone know that it's hard work being this cute, but I'm rocking the process.
My curly coat is non-shedding, shiny black. My people say I'm a "free spirit" and I admit that I can get distracted sometimes, but I love to please them and they KNOW that I can focus in when I know treats are in hand. This has helped me begin learning to "sit", "lay down", "cage up" (They say that I should go in my crate when they tell me to.), "touch", and "watch me". They say that soon I'll be able to do these things even without the treats, but I'ma gonna hold out on that for as long as I can, if you know what I mean.
I'm 13 weeks old. I've had two vet checks and all my shots and the vet says I'm "perfect". Yeah, I knew that, but hey...it doesn't hurt to hear it from the expert.

Lily (solid teal leash) and Dandelion (blue and white leash) had a visit to our vet yesterday to receive their 2nd round of puppy shots.
They had some time to explore the exam room while we waited on the vet and Lily even took herself for a little walk-holding her own leash-silly girl! These pups are now 12 weeks old! Lily is our only pup still looking for her forever home! Dandelion and Lily have had their freedoms expanded in the house and are getting a lot more time to hang with the big dogs and stay in a less confined space. It is going well and they are still getting all the way outside to potty, although I am finding that there must be some tasty somethings on the lower portions of my kitchen island that could use some attention.🤨 Dandelion leaves next week for his new family and we will make his big announcement then (Including a cool new name!)
Lily is patiently waiting for that forever family to find her. It's taking a little longer for her, but after watching how the Lord has provided such fabulous placements for each of these pups, I'm really not worried. Lily will be worth the wait.

Daisy is practicing riding in the car seat with the harness. She was an absolute angel.
It took some arranging, but Peony has finally been forever united with her new family and will be traveling to Virginia/DC to start her new life. Thank you, Abby for working with us and trusting us to raise your sweet pup. We can't wait to see all the fun that Peony-now Remy-and her older "brother" Ripley, and her new family have together.

She is bright, spunky, cuddly. She checks in on the scale as the smallest of the litter but she hasn't let that slow her down.
Lily is always up for a belly rub and those eyes peer into your soul while she gets her snuggles. Lily is a standard F1b goldendoodle. Wait until you see her little "hoppy jumps" in action. You. Will. Fall. In. Love.

One of the things we have done with these pups is to teach them to ride in a wagon. This has helped us get them out to socialize in our neighborhood and city while keeping "4 off the floor" in outdoor spaces until they are fully immunized. They are also learning boundaries since they have to resist jumping out of the wagon. That doesn't mean that we haven't had some adventurers but they really are getting it. This will translate to impulse control and set the stage for for puppies learning to stay on a "place" in the home, out at the park, or even at a patio restaurant.
You know what's really fun? When a friend from the past happens into your present and becomes a forever part of your puppy family. We are so thrilled that our sweet Sunflower-now Tucker-gets to live with Lara Haydock Jones and her wonderful family. He was made for them. They are perfect for him. A perfect match.

Sometimes it's meant to be; and when Poppy met the dad of these two girls on a wagon ride in downtown McKinney, it was obvious that she had found her family. When the girls came over later to meet her, it was even more obvious that she fit right in with them. I am so happy for Poppy and the Chumley family that they have found each other! We can't wait to see all the fun that they have together and I know that Poppy will be well loved.
We are so pleased that Bluebonnet has joined his forever family and that he has a wonderful playmate, his older brother Winston, from our Night Before Christmas Litter. Thank you Tasha Sherley Escoto and family for loving these pups and being a repeat customer. I'm so glad that these boys will be loved by your family.

Here is Zoe, the sole black puppy from Sadie's last litter, living her best life with her family. The best thing about a black goldendoodle is that shiny black coat that always looks clean (Even if it isn't, let's just be real here!) In this litter we have 3 black pups. 2 have a curlier coat and 1 has a straighter coat. All 3 will definitely have some curl but the 2 will have a lot more. Do you prefer a curlier coat or a straighter coat?
It's so important for these pups to continue to have time with Sadie. She teaches them how to interact with other dogs. She teaches them to back off when they are being too pushy. And she does it all in their own dog "language" so that these pups will know how to interact with other dogs in healthy way. The puppies also interact with our older dog, Lucy. They will fit right into a home with other friendly dogs.

Flashback to our Night Before Christmas Litter and their whelping box exposure activities. What is a whelping box exposure activity, you ask? It is part of a method that we use to raise confident and well adjusted puppies that are prepared to be a beautiful part of their new families. Here you see two different days of "work" that the puppies did to become comfortable with unique items in their whelping pen. The pumpkin adds different scent and texture while the upside down pot has a different feel and a shininess to it. All of our exposures are purposeful and gentle so our puppies feel safe as their nervous systems are developing. We are expecting another litter of empowered puppies in May who will be ready to go home to their forever families mid-July. Our application is OPEN.
