Snakes don’t WANT to bite people. They only bite people for one reason. Because they feel threatened. If you don’t hurt or frighten a snake, it won’t feel threatened, and it won’t bite you.
Take care when you’re out and about, either in the garden or in nature. be mindful that snakes could be around and watch where you’re putting your hands and your feet.
Never try to handle or harm a snake and it will never harm you.

Update on Raven. She laid 17 eggs and laid them faster than expected for that many. She's a Champ! There are 2 slugs and 3 questionable (tiny faint vein), and 12 good eggs. She's 270 gms after laying! Momma seems happy to be done with that and we will see if she wants to eat tomorrow.

I think I got this message to everyone on payment plans, but just in case I accidentally missed anyone (don't think I did) I want to let you know we have a first time mom laying eggs right now and it usually takes several hours (1 egg every hour or sometimes longer). If she's not done laying by feeding time, I'll be waiting until tomorrow to feed and send video. We have multiple snakes to feed and stress can cause egg binding. We put our snakes health first and hope you understand.

Ms Raven giving me an, "Why Did You Do This To Me?" Look. Her eye looks weird but if you zoom in, it isn't.

She was bred to a Purple Line Yeti male in May of last year and we had several girls eat as if gravid and then not lay, but then lay months later at the end of the year. So we did not brumate her, just in case.

She is a 2021 that we received as a virgin in 2023. Hopefully we get some really pretty red and purple line babies.
