Sulcatas, also known as African Spur Thigh Tortoises, make great pets with a pleasant and active personality. They are indigenous to the Western Sahara desert (Mali, Senegal, Chad to Algeria, Morocco) and known for having a life-span of over 100 years. Babies need a small container/tank/tupperware and heat lamp. The babies eat lots of greens and like being outside in the sun, but they'll need soak
