Our Squirrel did find a wonderful fospice home with caregiver Bethany, but within a few hours he was rushed to our friends at Bay State Emergency Veterinary Services as he was in heart failure 😞 We had to make the heartbreaking decision to say goodbye. We were hoping for more time with him but we are grateful for Bethany and her ability to transport Squirrel to the ER and that he wasn’t in the shelter when his time came ♥️ We also want to share Shadow and Dennys stories. Shadow was loved by Deborah and Rosemary, shortly after adoption, he would pass from heart failure. Denny came in as a sweet stray and was also rushed to the ER due to heart failure 💔 A very sad time for all who knew and loved Squirrel, Shadow and Denny. Thank you all for sharing our posts, supporting our work and grieving with us.
Our good boy Sanders is waiting for his humans to find him 🥰 He is about 3 years old, athletic, likes other dogs, a dirty tennis ball and a good buhbye in the car! Check out his antics 💜 He is so much fun and one of the best, cleanest boys in the kennel! If you’d like to chat about Sanders, please send an email [email protected] or [email protected] or call 401 680 7591

And here we are waivin’ Brenda and Eddy goodbye 👋! Brenda and Eddy were adopted today by a previous PAC adopter 💜 Happy life to the popular steadies and the king and the queen of the prom!
Introducing Tobey 💜 She came to us as a scared stray 😞 When she was finally ready for her spay, she tested positive for heart worm 🪱 so off to Warren Animal Hospital she went and a treatment plan was created with the fabulous Dr Mello! So far so good! We are almost finished with Tobey’s treatment, the worst is nearly over! Phew! So, it’s a good time to look for a home for her. She can go to a foster to adopt home while still under treatment, but only in Rhode Island. If we still have Tobey (we hope not) once she cleared, she can be adopted anywhere! Tobey needs a quiet home with adults or young adults. She does love dogs of all sizes! If Tobey, would be a good fit for your family, please call 401 680 7591 or email [email protected] or [email protected]
Update I was adopted ❤️
He’s a little wild AND a little strange … and, a lot of fun! Hey Dude is a busy orange guy - athletic and clumsy, he’s just a big kitten who loves other cats! If you’d like a friend who will get into anything, play with anything and then snuggle like you raised him, Hey Dude is the cat for you! Please email [email protected] or call 401 680 7591 to meet him!
