Job Opening – Veterinary Assistant / Client Service Representative
We are looking for a motivated individual to join our team. Our newly opened, busy veterinary practice located in Provincetown, is an integrative, community based veterinary hospital with a caring and trained team. We focus on the special relationship between the pets and their owners.
The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of Customer Service experience and enjoys working in a fast-paced customer service environment. We are looking for someone who is detail oriented with a focus on excellence, great energy and a passion for working with pets and people.
The Client Service Representative / Assistant answers the phones, differentiates between routine and emergency cases, schedules appointments, greets clients, admits and checks out the day’s appointments, processes payments. As well as assisting Technicians and Doctors in exam rooms, safely holding pets for examinations and procedures, maintains cleanliness of exam rooms. Verbal and written communication is essential and the candidate must be able to empathize with clients and remain compassionate.

* Building relationships with both new and established clientele and helping them to guide their pet’s through every stage of life.
* Provide comprehensive client education in person and on the phone.
* Maintain the office as a warm and welcoming environment for people and pets from all walks of life.
* Share every day with a fun and caring group of people who are dedicated to their profession and each other.
