This year we went all out for the Halloween Farmers market and now it’s time to prepare for the winter market season with crafts, 3D prints and crochet in addition to our fresh quail eggs !

With spooky season coming to an end we wanted to do a giveaway to celebrate Halloween! The winner of this giveaway will receive this basket, which includes a pumpkin jar of pecans, a jar of pickled okra, a jar of mayhaw jelly, and a jar of blueberry pepper jelly as well as a few unshelled pecans in the basket as well!

So thankful for my friendship with and him teaching me to process my first Muscovy ducks. Also beyond grateful to understand and feel all the feels about where my meat truly comes from. It really gives you a whole new respect for your food and I encourage everyone to learn these skills even if you don’t intend on using them regularly.

Look what I found out in the country…it’s an elusive, free range, fresh backscratcher ! 🤣I may have collected 4 of them since they were no longer in use and separated from their turkey . Yep they were just laying there and I thought “yep, imma collect those with some feathers and ‘recycle’ them” 🤣

Oh my dear quail con friends, how I love and miss you dearly! So glad for technology so we can chat even though we’re far away ❤️

I think the biggest ADVICE I could give anyone in homesteading or in life is find your tribe and love them hard! We all need that support system and I’m so glad I have this extra family I found in quail!
