In the spirit of February, today is Doggie Date Night! Doggie date night although might sound silly, it might be a great excuse to spend some time pampering your furry friend(s). Go for a walk, have a special treat, or accept extra cuddles for the day. This day is meant to spoil our best friends.

The next time you are at the pet store, stop to check if your pet's dental product has the Veterinary Oral Health Council approved stamp. If so, you can ensure the product has been shown and proven to work.

Recognizing dental disease is an essential step in being a responsible pet owner. Dental disease can be painful to our furry friends, causing them not to enjoy their favorite daily activities as much, along with intaking bacteria. So what are some signs to be watching for in our pets?

1) Bad breathe
2) Bloody drool
3) Red gums
4) Tartar build-up, etc.

The best way to stay on top of your pets dental care is to continue annual exams with your Veterinarian, at-home dental care routine, and diet supplements like oral chews, or a water additive approved by the Veterinary Oral Health Council ( VOHC )

These are the cousins of our Junior Office Manger Ben, come for their annual checkup. Do you see the family resemblance?
