Sweet, tiny Brownie.
Brownie is one of the many little dogs pulled from a hoarding situation. Brownie is a sweet, sweet little girl. She hasn't had much in the way of socialization, but she is young and can learn to be a little social butterfly with the right family. Brownie appears to be about 8-10 months old. She weighs the same as a gallon of milk. We are guessing she is a Dachshund, Yorkie, Chihuahua mix. I know, that's a mouthful, so let's simplify it. Dorchie? Nope. Never mind. Let's just call her an adorable Heinz 57. :)
Brownie would be a wonderful companion for anyone needing a lap warmer. She is very shy, but warms up after a little while. She would do best with older children or no children at all due to how skittish she is. She loves playing with the other smaller dogs in the home. She even loves the cat, and firmly believes she might be one. She enjoys laying on the windowsill to look out the window...like a cat. Brownie is also housebroken to some extent. She will potty outside when her wonderful foster mom takes out her out, but she hasn't yet figured out how to tell someone she needs to go. She needs patience, positive reinforcement, and consistency. Brownie is completely vetted, as well! She is spayed and up to date on her shots. The only kind of medical attention she needs now is a hernia repair.
Please send us a message through this page or send us an email if you are interested in Brownie. We will then put you through the application process and find the best fit for Brownie.

URGENT
We have been contacted about a large quantity of animals in need of foster homes. Their owner is unable to take care of them anymore.
There are approximately 15 small breeds that need foster homes. We will supply food, bedding, and vet care.
They are friendly with other dogs and people.
Pictured below are the dogs that need a foster home. They are not available for adoption at this time. Please let us know if you can help.
Dennis and Edna update:
These two are adjusting so well at their foster home! Dennis (now Mo) is really coming out of his shell. Isn't he so adorable?
Edna (now Minnie) is still a bit reserved, but her fosters have learned she enjoys cuddling (and doesn't mind being run over by her brother 😅)!
My heart is absolutely melting looking at these two and I am so happy we have the chance to help them. 💛
Remember these two cuties? If you can believe it, they are STILL looking for their FOREVER HOMES! These pups get along with large dogs, children, and even goats! They are working on their leash training AND some basic commands. So come on, click on this link and give these cuties the home they deserve! <3

We'll work on indoor manners tomorrow.
Cain, checking in. This guy had a really hard time finding Forever; it looks like it was worth the wait.
Just a little to the left Foster mom...ahhh, who knew loving humans would be so easy?
SWAT note: Cosmo was presumed "feral" two weeks ago when he arrived at his foster home. This guy WAS looking for a barn but considering how far he's come, we think he would make a great companion cat also. Cosmo needs a home or a barn with lots of TLC.
