We took in this little Puggle yesterday to get her off the streets of Pryor. She's well cared for however, not spayed, no chip and no ID. If you know her or her owner, please let us know. We would love to get her home.

Sweet, tiny Brownie.

Brownie is one of the many little dogs pulled from a hoarding situation. Brownie is a sweet, sweet little girl. She hasn't had much in the way of socialization, but she is young and can learn to be a little social butterfly with the right family. Brownie appears to be about 8-10 months old. She weighs the same as a gallon of milk. We are guessing she is a Dachshund, Yorkie, Chihuahua mix. I know, that's a mouthful, so let's simplify it. Dorchie? Nope. Never mind. Let's just call her an adorable Heinz 57. :)
Brownie would be a wonderful companion for anyone needing a lap warmer. She is very shy, but warms up after a little while. She would do best with older children or no children at all due to how skittish she is. She loves playing with the other smaller dogs in the home. She even loves the cat, and firmly believes she might be one. She enjoys laying on the windowsill to look out the window...like a cat. Brownie is also housebroken to some extent. She will potty outside when her wonderful foster mom takes out her out, but she hasn't yet figured out how to tell someone she needs to go. She needs patience, positive reinforcement, and consistency. Brownie is completely vetted, as well! She is spayed and up to date on her shots. The only kind of medical attention she needs now is a hernia repair.

Please send us a message through this page or send us an email if you are interested in Brownie. We will then put you through the application process and find the best fit for Brownie.

If you live in Oklahoma, you know the weather is about to take a dangerous turn. Bone-chilling, killer cold will be here as early as Tuesday morning. If you have pets outside, BRING THEM IN. Even if they come into a heated garage or bathroom, please bring them inside. I know some dogs like Tucker here like to be outside in this weather, but sometimes you have to play the bad guy and drag them back into the house. Check on your elderly neighbors during this time as well! Take the rest of tonight and tomorrow to prepare. Remember to hope for the best, but prepare for the worst.

Hi, I'm BAAACK! I took a little break from looking for my own fam. New year, new family, I'm on it! I'm Chester the Wonder Dog. Well, that's what I call myself. I'm a Beagle mix, but no baying from this boy. I hardly ever bark unless I'm trying to get one of the other dogs to play with me or there's Stranger Danger, like the UPS guy. I'm about 2, neutered, up to date on vaccinations. I'm house trained, (use the dog door like a champ). I have some basic manners, great recall and my foster fam says I'm just an all around good guy. I do have one little issue; okay, maybe two. When I was a pup, I broke my leg. My family then, just let it heal all broken. I've been to two docs and they both say I get around just fine, no need to take my foot...phew! Getting along just fine, brings me to the second issue. I get around well enough to catch a chicken. Hey, I did great around them until they started acting like squeaky toys then all bets were off. So, to keep ME out of trouble, I'm looking for a chickenless family. If I get to add a wish list, I would also like a young dog to play with. The pack I live with are old and can be very grouchy. I wouldn't mind a kid or two, I love cats, warm beds and long walks. I think I might just be who you're looking for, to spend Forever with

I made this post earlier, but there was something I didn’t mention that I should have. The two people manning this page right now are the same two who helped build this rescue from the ground up ten years ago. We literally built it from scratch with all the care and love we could give it. It broke our hearts to end our chapter and let it go to someone else, but our hearts shattered when it was thrown back at us in shambles last week. As you know, the founders of this rescue would never ask for money unless it was absolutely needed. We are truly sorry for what has happened in the last week and a half. We did not see coming. We handed this rescue off to someone in good faith.

Please note that even though the reputation of this rescue may be flaky and a bit untrustworthy right now due to previous events, we are desperately trying to make it right to everyone who was left in the dark over a week ago. This rescue will never be the same, but I can promise you that every penny given to help those who need it, wether it be a spay/neuter voucher or a homeless pet, will go straight to the cause. Please don’t let what happened deter you from helping if you’re on the fence about it.

I say this for everyone: thank you. It takes a village. 🐾

Due to the recent events within this rescue, we are reaching out to the people WITH outstanding spay/neuter vouchers. We really want to honor all of the vouchers that are outstanding, however, we don’t have the funds to honor everyone’s. If you truly need the voucher, like this is the only way to afford to get your pet taken care of for the foreseeable future, we will do our best to honor them.

If you wish to donate towards the voucher program, please do so! You will be helping the overall pet population from growing even more. Every penny goes to them. 🐾

Thank you so much. We can’t do this without the help of our friends.
