Today marks the end of a chapter we built with heart, hope, and a vision bigger than ourselves.
When this rescue began back in 2014—with two Great Danes who needed a miracle—we had no idea where the road would take us. We simply knew there were animals who needed someone to show up for them. So we did.
And because of you, we kept showing up.
Over the years, Saving Whiskers and Tails has rescued hundreds of pets. We have driven mile after mile, state to state, in vans full of soft noses, trembling paws, and second chances. We’ve pulled animals from fear into safety. We’ve placed them into living rooms, families, laps, and forever homes. We’ve witnessed transformations that still bring tears to our eyes.
This wasn’t just a rescue.
It was a community.
A family.
A promise that no life was too small to matter.
To our supporters, sponsors, fosters, transporters, adopters, donors, and cheerleaders—you became the heartbeat of this mission. You showed up at midnight, at fundraisers, at vet visits, at transport meets, and in every moment when it would’ve been easier not to. You believed in this work. You believed in these animals. You believed in us.
We cannot thank you enough for everything you’ve poured into this rescue—your time, your money, your homes, your compassion, and your trust. Every life saved was because of you.
As we officially close our doors, please know this:
The impact of Saving Whiskers and Tails doesn’t end today.
It lives in every wagging tail, every purr on a warm couch, every family who found their missing piece through adoption.
It lives in the animals who were scared, sick, forgotten—until you helped us change their story.
