WORM TEA!!!! What is it and how do my plants benefit from it? Let’s start with what it is. Worm tea is a natural and organic amendment that is very useful for your plants as a foliage spray or added to your water. Worm tea boosts soil microbiological activity by adding beneficial bacteria making nutrients readily available for plant absorption. Basically, it’s black gold for your plants. So, how does this microbiological activity benefit your plants? Well, it does in many ways. Some of the best ways it benefits your plants are by improving soil health, boosting plant growth, enhancing nutrient intake, and helping your plant resist pests and fungi. Worm tea does not burn your roots and is safe for all species of plants. It’s been hot out!! Give your plants a special treat and see how they pay you back.

WORM CASTING INSTRUCTIONS
******************************************************
NEW BEDS
------------------
Rake in 1 quart of castings per 9 square feet of bed. Water thoroughly.

SEEDLINGS, TRANSPLANTS AND EXISTING PLANTS
--------------------------------------------------------
Seedlings: Work 1-part castings into 3-parts seed starting mix and plant seeds.

Transplants: Apply 1-2 cups at bottom of hole and at the base of the new plant. Water thoroughly.

Existing Plants: Apply 1-2 cups around the base of the plant. Water thoroughly.

LAWNS
----------
New and Existing Lawns: Sprinkle approximately 30-lbs of worm castings per 1000 feet of lawn. Water thoroughly.

NOTES ON CASTINGS
-------------------------
We recommend adding more castings to your plants at least once a month. Feel free to experiment, worm castings will not burn your plants. Using more will only improve your results. You may also find a small worm or two, or worm cocoons, that escaped our screening process. This is an added bonus for your plants and garden.

For longer term storage, make sure your castings retain some moisture and have access to air. This will keep the microbial population in the castings alive.

*******************************************************************
WORM TEA INSTRUCTIONS
*******************************
The worm casting tea you purchased is a concentrate. Not for human consumption.

Mix one (1) part worm tea concentrate to seven (7) parts chlorine free water and water plants as normal. You cannot use too much worm tea. Overuse will not harm plants.

NOTES ON WORM TEA
---------------------------
Worm Tea is best used right away because of the living bacteria and microbes. To prolong the potency for a week or two longer: Every time you water your plants add a drop or two of molasses or a sprinkle of sugar into the bottle, put the cap on and shake the bottle. Store in a safe dark place with the top off allowing oxygen for the microorganisms.
