A cool recent addition from Darkhorse Herpetoculture "Casper" plain bellied water snakes a cool anery/+axanthic morph he's produced neat morph in a underrated species .

Had a clutch of 6 southern key largo deckerts ratsnake eggs laid this last week hadn't planned on breeding em this year (despite being cohabbed ) but having the lights cut off for 5 days in May when we went to Texas seems to be what triggered my ratsnakes this year all 3 of my clutches were laid 1-2 months since the trip kinda interesting. (Dad is pictured)

Up until the past few weeks I had just figured I wasn't gonna get any ratsnakes this year but Hadaph and Reuben came through super excited about this clutch gorgeous parents both first timers and Reuben being the first snake I hatched out makes it even more special here's hoping these 11 go the distance.

Bad video but you can see a few went back to where the plains spadefoots were mating a week ago and as you can see tadpoles are already moving these guys rely on big puddles like this for spawning so they lay eggs that hatch in a couple days and go from tadpoles to frogs in as short as two weeks really incredible little things. #plainspadefoottoad
