Victor and Chip!
We’re so lucky to have such incredible volunteers, and Victor Reyes is one of the best! He not only walks our dogs on pack walks, giving them exercise and companionship, but he also brings his steel drum to fill the shelter with soothing tunes. As you can see, our animals love it—especially our boy, Chip! #pawsforlifepueblo #volunteersmakeadifference
Fudge Brownie
Happy birthday to sweet Fudge Brownie.Let’s help Fudge Brownie find the loving home he truly deserves. After spending almost three years at PAWS, this handsome 5-year-old is more than ready for his forever family. Fudge Brownie came to us with his puppies and their mama, Camille, and he’s been a beloved part of our community ever since. With his fun-loving personality and heartwarming smile, Fudge—known affectionately as Fudgy—quickly became a staff favorite. His ability to brighten anyone’s day is unmatched, and he considers everyone he meets his best friend.Fudgy loves long walks, is great on a leash, and is a champion cuddler. While he arrived with a female dog, he’s been reactive toward male dogs at the shelter, so slow introductions are important. If you’re ready to welcome this amazing pup into your life, please contact PAWS at (719) 543-6464 or email us at [email protected]. Let’s make Fudge Brownie’s birthday wish of a forever home come true!
🎉 Happy Birthday, Odin! 🎉Odin’s story began with heartbreak—he was abandoned in a crate with his brother, who sadly didn’t survive after their escape. This left Odin shut down and unsure of the world. But today, we’re celebrating how far this beautiful pup has come! ❤️Odin just turned ONE and is doing amazing, all thanks to the love and care he’s received from the staff and volunteers. Odin may have had a rough start in life, but this 11-month-old brindle Shepherd, Pyrenees, and Pit mix hasn’t let it break his spirit! Odin is a sweet, 1 - year-old loving boy who has been previously let down by humans, but he’s ready to find the right family to show him what true love and loyalty mean. Odin is dog-friendly and absolutely adores his best buddy, Toby. While he gets excited and a bit loud when he sees other dogs, he’s full of energy and enthusiasm, ready to play. With his playful spirit, Odin will thrive in an active home, but be prepared—he’s an escape artist and will need a 6ft privacy fence to keep him safe. We’re currently accepting applications to find Odin’s best match. He’s looking for a commited, patient owner who can keep up with his energy and help him feel secure in his forever home. If you have the heart and home for Odin, he’s ready to meet you!719 543-6464www.pawpueblo.org [email protected]
Milk
Mr. Milk showing off his impressive “give paw” and “spin-in-a-circle” tricks with cattery tech KeKe! He is so smart! Meet Milk, an eight-year-old kitty with a sassy yet friendly demeanor, yearning for a loving family to call his own. Despite facing setbacks, including the passing of his first owner and being returned by his second adoptive family, Milk remains hopeful for a fresh start. We believe Milk would thrive best as the sole pet in a household. While he may offer love bites when overstimulated, Milk's affection knows no bounds when given the chance. If you're ready to offer Milk the unconditional love and forever home he deserves, he'll reciprocate with endless love and companionship. Reach out to us at 719-543-6464 or email [email protected] to learn more about Milk and how you can welcome him into your heart and home.www.pawspueblo.org #pawsforlifepueblo #adoptashelterpet #milk #foreverhomeneeded
Gypsy
Gypsy had an amazing day! 🎉 She got to go for a ride and enjoy a tasty pup cup! 🐾 Safe to say she loved every minute of it. 🥰.
Gypsy found her way to PAWS as a stray and became a staff and volunteer favorite. Her silly and sometimes stubborn antics are sure to bring a smile to your face. She occasionally needs a trail of treats to coax her back into her kennel, showcasing her very unique personality.Gypsy is a loving dog who enjoys making new friends, though she prefers to do so at her own pace. She can be selective on who she allows in her circle so walking with her on our weekly pack walks might help with any trust issues. Gypsy is searching for a calmer forever home with kids aged 16 and older, where she will be surrounded by love, patience, and plenty of yummy treats. Her last dog meet was uneventful, a significant improvement from her first, indicating progress but still cautious in her social skills with other dogs. However, Gypsy has a high prey drive, so a home without cats would be best. Gypsy walks well on a leash but can get overstimulated by the exciting things she encounters on her walks. For more information about Gypsy, please call PAWS at (719) 543-6464 or email [email protected]

Meet Figaro, a sweet and resilient kitty who first came to PAWS as a stray. After a few weeks with us, we discovered that Figaro needed urgent medical attention and was diagnosed with a liver shunt—a rare condition in cats. 🐾While a liver shunt can be serious, it can often be managed with a special diet and medication, and Figaro is doing currently doing well! We're committed to making sure he gets the care he needs, including visits to the specialist, but what Figaro truly deserves is to experience the comfort and care of a peaceful, quiet foster or forever home where he can be the only cat. ❤️If you can help Figaro experience the love and comfort of a real home, please reach out to us! In the meantime, we will continue to spoil him and make sure he’s comfortable and happy. 🏡🐱Please share to help Figaro find the loving home he deserves! 🙏 #figaro #adoptdontshop #pawsforlifepueblo #specialneedscat
