About Us! About Me, Gina (Like) Bryan:
I was born in Colorado and was fortunate to grow up with many animals around at all times. I had one grandfather who was a Rancher and my other grandfather was a Farmer. So animals were part of our life. My mom was an AKC Breeder of Toy, Tiny Toy, and Teacup poodles. So I grew up with them and helped my mom with socializing and delivery of many beautiful puppies. When I was very young my mom would find me under the kitchen table curled up in the dog bed with the dogs. I absolutely loved the poodles! My mom believed it was very important for all the dogs to learn to get along and for them to actually be part of the family and learn the house rules, so our dogs were truly raised underfoot. Yes, that takes a lot of time and work but makes for a happier, more socialized dogs and cleaner home. The only time they would go in pens is at night for bed time and of course if we had a mother with babies, we had a private pen for her. This took a lot of hard work for my mom to raise two young kids and train dogs and raise puppies, but she did it and did a beautiful job! About My Husband:
My husband Charles came from South Carolina. He was raised on a plantation on Johns Island, He was raised around many animals as well, since his dad is a Veterinarian and has been in practice for about 50 years now. They had cattle, horses, dogs, cats, pigs, and many other crazy things that his dad would bring home either to help nurse back to health or as a gift from a client. My husband spent many hours helping with the animals, including training, feeding, birthing, etc. He enjoys animals as much as I do and is going to school now to be a Veterinarian, after he got his Robotics Engineering degree. He is very smart and always learning! Our Beginning Together, My Poodle LittleBit & Service Dog Work, My Current Endeavor’s:
So now here we are. We got our first poodle together, LittleBit, a few months after we got married and was headed to work at a ministry down in GA for our first year of marriage. It was called, Be In Health Ministry (now called: Hope of the Generations Church). It was an amazing experience for both of us. We saw God move in so many people’s lives and saw many healings and miracles including myself. The fact that I am here today is a miracle, say my doctors. LittleBit became a huge part of my healing process. He was such a sweet, loving, fun, smart poodle. He was my first baby! I have trained him myself as a service dog. He passed with flying colors. Poodles are very smart and make excellent pets, as well as service dogs. They are great with Children, elderly, and other animals. Plus they are hypoallergenic, and do not shed. That makes for great service dogs also. Poodles of all sizes are used as service dogs more and more over the past few years. As for me, I have always been someone who wanted to make a difference in people’s lives. I enjoy meeting my buyers and seeing how happy my poodle pups make their new families. Also, with this desire to make a difference in people’s lives, I have always been involved with ministry in some way. After I had a kidney/pancreas transplant this past Jan. 2018, I felt God calling me to Bible College. I will be attending Charis Bible College online for a while and then hopefully at one of their on campus schools in the future.
