Don’t forget our Swamp John’s event next week! We have a special plea as well- over the past few weeks we have taken on 21 puppies ! Therefore we are in need of puppy food donations- Purina or Purina One Puppy food is easy on their little tummies. If you would like to drop off at Swamp John’s or at High Water Pawn it would me much appreciated 🐶🥰🐾

Bella Bella Bella 🐾💕🐾💕

This sweet but sassy muffin needs a foster. Still a puppy at 8 months old she can be quite the handful. She is crate trained and doing fairly well with potty training. We are told Bella is a chiweenie who was no longer wanted.

She is very playful and energetic and really wants all the attention. She is one one may call a diva and feels she deserves the royal treatment 💕 👑

Bella is under the care of a veterinarian because she does seem to have some wobble in her walk and may have possible hip or back issues - this doesn’t slow her down - she can run and jump - and it doesn’t seem to cause her pain - but we are working to make sure she gets the proper treatment.

She is not quite ready to adopt-foster to adopt is an option.

Archie is a 2 yr old Beagle mix pup in search of his forever home!

He’s very handsome and is so ready to find his own family after being at the shelter for a bit!
He promises to be a good boy and shower you with love and pup kisses! 😘

Temp puppy fosters
These little guys are the two left looking for fosters- with a dip in temps ar nighr this week- we would love for them to be indoors. Just one week or two🐾❤️🐾❤️⭐️🐶🐶
Everything can be provided - if you have any area that’s heated that would be perfect

🐶 🐶 🐶 ALERT 🚨 ‼️

It is raining puppies right now and we’ve had lots of calls- this group of 7 were not safe and so we made the decision to take a leap of faith and bring them in.

⭐️ 8 weeks old approximately
⭐️ 10 pounds approximately
⭐️ mixed breed- we can only guess
⭐️ vaccinations and worming started
⭐️ puppy snuggles and shenanigans

These babies need foster or a foster to adopt situation. We had so many amazing people offer to foster the last litter. Getting them into homes so they can be properly cared for is crucial.
Fostering is a special gift - a gift that gives them a chance at a happy ending where they are safe and loved

This little guy-Thor- was taken in as a stray by a Good Samaritan, he was well taken care of while he healed from a non-contagious skin condition.

👀 Now look at him!! He’s come such a long way and you can finally see just how handsome he is!

🚨 HOWEVER, he now needs a foster home where he can continue to heal and learn all about puppy things until he finds a forever home.

🦸‍♀️🦸‍♂️He needs a hero!

Look at how far this baby has come - he had a non contagious skin situation going on because of a rough start in life - he is healing up so well and will continue getting better and better. He is such a sweet boy- Thor is about 25 pounds of snuggle bunny. Estimated to be around 4 months old. This little boy is needing a foster at this time - or someone who would like to foster to adopt. please reach out for more information and share this post so to find his forever home

February is Spay/Neuter Awareness Month – and we’re ready to celebrate with a PITTIE PAWTY!

In an effort to support responsible pet ownership and reduce the number of unwanted PITTIES in our community, we’re offering discounted spay/neuter surgeries for pit bull owners for a limited time, using grant money. SPACE IS LIMITED. Pit bulls are often one of the most common breeds found in shelters, yet they’re also among the most at risk for being euthanized due to overpopulation. By making these services more affordable, we hope to make a positive impact on reducing this cycle and improving the lives of both pets and their families.

Many people don’t realize that the term "pit bull" actually refers to several breeds, not just one. These include:
* American Pit Bull Terrier
* American Staffordshire Terrier
* American Bully
* Staffordshire Bull Terrier
* American Bulldog (and sometimes, other dogs with similar characteristics)

If you’re a pit bull owner and want to take advantage of this promotion, here’s how it works:

* You’ll be asked to submit a photo of your dog once you’ve been contacted.

We have a special plea this evening - this sweet girl is an expectant mother who came to the shelter today. She is very likely to have her babies any day. Having babies is stressful enough - she really needs a calmer environment to bring her little ones into this world.

We are looking for a foster for this expectant mom. Everything needed can be provided if you have the love and a safe space. If you can’t foster please share to help this little lady and her new family

💕MEET BABY GIRL- isn’t she a doll?

Baby Girl is a gorgeous little fawn pup with black/white mask, looking for her forever home!

Here’s what we know:

🌸12-14 weeks old

🌸Loves exploring outdoors
🌸Loves playing with other pups

She’s very playful and would really benefit from a confident pup sibling to play with and learn from, with a big backyard to romp in and her favorite person that’s home most of the day.

She’s thriving in her foster home and learning so many great puppy manners. She’s adjusted wonderfully to a morning and evening routine!

So now she’s ready for that one person or family to give her all the love and attention she deserves along with a cozy home to continue growing and learning to be the best pup she can be!
