Here at the Circle Z we have dedicated the last 13 years building a jenny herd that brings together both suburb confirmation and outstanding performance in each and every jenny. We currently have 4 jennies in our herd with Desert Song being the sole producer to date. Our philosophy with the remaining jennies is to show and establish good confirmation and performance records on each jenny before br

eeding them. With this solid foundation and selecting the best possible jacks to breed to each jenny, our program has the potential of providing some of the best donkey foals available. Over the years that we have been training donkeys at the Circle Z, we have learned a lot of techniques that work and just as many that do not work. Each donkey we train is an individual, and comes with his/her own set of unique atributes and skills. Our goal in our training program is to always set the bar higher with each donkey we train. Our future goal is to continue building and progressing forward in our training program. Ultimately we would like to have 1 or 2 green broke donkeys a year for sale. These donkeys will include not only our own offspring, but quality young geldings and jennies that we have purchased to include in our training program.

The Dixie Nationals in Jackson Mississippi, has been approved by NASMDA for sanctioning. It is January 18-21. It will be a 4 judged show jam packed with classes for everyone. The show bill and entry form should be coming out on the NASMDA
page next week hopefully. If it doesn't I will post it on Circle Z Donkeys. Please share on your pages. Thanks

What a great show and great time with friends at the Candy Corn Classic. They knew we were there with 3 donkeys, 1 mule and 1 Belgium Draft. MV Bandito Legato did great against all the horses placing 1st in Adult Walk/Trot Horsemanship and 4th in Adult Walk/Trot Trail.

MV Bandito Legato aka Larry, had a great Throw down at the NC and SC State Fair Donkey and Mule Shows. He was reserve champion Halter Donkey at SC State Fair along with Reserve High Point Throw Down Champion. I want to thank, with all my heart, Carrie Brigham and Jay Jaxtheimer for showing him at these shows. You guys are quite the team!!
