For nearly a week, I have been trying to find the right words…
I am absolutely heartbroken.

DEXTER my first client. Even as a pup, he taught me way more than I ever taught him. Every visit was a new adventure with him.
When Beth & I write our book, DEXTER will have his own chapter.

Rest easy, my dear old friend …
frolic in the sun, chase the bunny, eat the meatball, enjoy the car ride, celebrate “Cinco de Dexter.”

There will always be a very special place in my heart for you.

As Florida temperatures soar, keep your four-legged friends safe. Take them for walks in the cooler hours of early morning and after dusk. Remember, if it's too hot for you, it's even hotter for them!

DO NOT Walk your Dogs on Concrete / Asphalt

Look at these numbers... now let's be clear here, these are PAVEMENT temperatures expected...not *actual* AIR temps. The sun beats down on these surfaces, the surfaces hold a lot of solar radiation and this is the result. Walk on grass and dirt.

Paw damage starts within 60 seconds at 125 degrees. PLEASE keep that in mind!!
