Hi folks! I try not to be political but every now and then something worthwhile comes up. A bill has come up to provide vouchers for swim lessons for kids. S.B.544 and H.B. 581. Please urge your congress people to vote for this. Drowning is a leading cause of death in children under 5. We here in Florida are surrounded by water and it's very important your children know how to swim.

3 years ago I called my son ,John, in Japan and told him Dad needed help. He was here the next day! Since then he's been in the pool business. He's helped in and off through the years so he knew what to do. This week he went back to school to get his Aquatic Facility Operator certification. Needless to say he passed his test and is a "Certified Aquatic Facility Operator". He only missed 1 question. You can be sure your kids and grandkids will swim in a safe and sanitary pool!πŸ‘‹πŸ‘‹πŸ‘‹πŸ‘‹

Once again a child drowned. 2 year old daughter of one of the players for the Bucaneers. People, PLEASE put up your baby gates.if you have door alarms or pool alarms, use them. Again take the pool toys out of the pool when not swimmimg as they entice children to the water. Children, when they slip in the water make no noise. Even if you are by the pool, don't take your eyes off of them. Leading cause of death of children under 5 yrs is drowning. PLEASE watch your kids. This breaks my heart.πŸ’”

To answer the most asked question this month," No, your pool doesn't have a leak!". We've had no substantial rain in weeks and with 20 to 25 degree temperature swings, add some wind in with that and Mother Nature is sucking the water out of your pool. I'll be doing a Rain Dance this afternoon if anyone cares to join in.πŸ˜„

Fyi! The Corona virus is not transmittable through pool water as long as there is a chlorine residual of at least 1 PPM. Got a bulletin from CES last week. Said our old friend chlorine will kill the virus.

For those of you who live in "deed restricted" communities and have pets and have to keep your trash cans in the garage,a tip for storing your dogs "p**p purses" till garbage day. Ask your pool guy for an empty chlorine tablet bucket. Store your "purses" in it till garbage day as the residue in the bucket will mask the odor. Of course put the lid on it.

For everyone who thinks they have developed a leak in your pool, you haven't. The cool nights and warm days are causing water to evaporate at a higher rate than usual. Plus we've had no rain to speak of. Don't panic if you have to add water more than usual.😁

Please remove pool toys from your pool when your not swimming. They have a tendency to lure small children to the pool when you're not there. It also helps your service people service your pool if they're not in the way.

If you have small children, always make sure your safeguards are always in place around your pool, baby gates, alarms, etc. If you don't have them,....get them!

06/04/2018

Please check around your pool for toys or floats that might hold water. It's a place for algae and mosquitos to breed.

Watch your chem levels folks! The rain is diluting our chemistry.
