Recent reports of the abrupt closure of pet microchip company Save This Life has prompted calls for pet owners to reregister their chipped pets.

Due to the recent Save This Life Microchip database disruptions, it is very important to re-register your pet's microchip information as soon as possible if your pet was implanted with this brand microchip. This ensures your pet can be identified in the unexpected event they get lost.

Here are 2 options to re-register:
1) Free Registry Service at www.freepetchipregistry.com.
a. This is a FREE database that is connected to the AAHA Universal Pet Microchip Lookup Tool.

2) Registry with Datamars / PetLink at 1-877-PETLINK (738-5465) or online at www.PetLink.net
a. Customers can register Save this Life microchipped pets with petlink.net for only $1 using the discount code: STLDOLLAR
b. This offer is valid through 3/31/2025

If your pet was microchipped at New Hope Pet Hospital you do not have to re-register because we did not use Save This Life microchips. Many shelters used them so please check your records to see what brand was used.

We hope everyone did well and was safe in the storm! Our office did not have any damage inside and will resume normal business hours on Monday, October 14th at 8:00am.

ATTENTION CLIENTS: Our office will be closing at 11:00am today due to the approaching hurricane Milton. If you need medication or food for your pet please come in as soon as possible.
