High Jump Rabbitry I have been breeding Mini Rex for three years in Northern Virginia. I have black, chocolate, lilac, broken, and otter varieties.

I also have recently added Shaded Rex rabbits to my breeding program!

Out of a lynx and a black otter

Very nice even coat and dark color. Good texture and density. Needs more depth, but a generally well balanced boy. Exceptional temperament.

Broken black Mini Rex Junior Doe - 3 #11, 4 months old. Carries white and chocolate, out of High Jump's Lull. Nice fur texture, good density and resistance. I'd like to see more width in the rear HQ. 6️⃣5️⃣

Broken sable Rex Junior Doe - 5 #0, almost 3 months old, fur is a bit soft and could use some more density, but she is still pretty young. Possible chocolate carrier (still working on test breeding for confirmation). 5️⃣0️⃣

There has been lots of sad news this weekend, and I have a little of my own.

3SR's Rex passed away on Friday. I absolutely adored him. I could not have asked for a more beautiful, friendly, productive buddy in the rabbitry.

I got him from Alyssa Ranft and Kaleb Haynes in 2021 at Convention. While he has been here, he has been bred 31 times, had 43 weaned babies. I have 10 active children of Rex in the barn and probably a dozen grandbabies. He made beautiful babies. Sexy Rexy was a gamechanger for my mini rex herd, and I will so badly miss him.

If you have any Rex babies, give them an extra kiss and squeeze for me.
