Living where it’s hot and humid can make it easier for internal parasites to attack. What you do can control them and hopefully build resistance in your herd rather than the worms. This is a really good article!

Spring through early summer in the U.S. is an ideal climate for internal parasites in such animals as sheep and goats. This year’s rainfall will promote larval hatching — and consumption by these small ruminants.

Finally took care of my microchip problem! AVID had hired new staff and they were as responsive as Elsie! They’re sending me microchips and I can use them for the dogs too!

More good news was our pretty Passionate Kisses got Jr Champion Saturday! Thank you Brittany Swackhammer!

The neighbor’s steers with their cattle egrets are in the distance. Crickets are chirping and birds and our rooster are calling. It’s a peaceful and nice morning here. The breeze runs over me. What a relief from recent days.
