It is with great sadness mingled with excitement that we are announcing Dr. Lapierre will be leaving the Animal Hospital of Putnam after many years. Sadness because we will miss her and she is a wonderful veterinarian and excitement because she is leaving to pursue her first love: emergency care! We wish her nothing but the best in all her future endeavors! (psst! We are hoping to be able to keep her for ONE day a week! Stay tuned for updates on this!)

That being said, we will be down to one doctor for the foreseeable future and ask for everyone's patience and understanding as we rise to meet yet another challenge facing our hospital. Starting May 18, we will NOT be seeing appointments on Saturday, although we will have someone available for medication pick up and to answer phones. We are still working out all the details with our new (hopefully temporary) schedule and appreciate your understanding.
