In honor of my two husky raptors, I'm sooo excited to release my newest collection! This is something I've wanted to make for awhile as dinos are our spirit animal. A fun prehistoric inspired collection is designed for all our adventurous pups that love to rawr!

🥳 𝗛𝗮𝗽𝗽𝘆 𝗕𝗶𝗿𝘁𝗵𝗱𝗮𝘆 𝗠𝗼𝗺𝗺𝘆 🥳

It's been an amazing week in Washington DC kicking it with , an emotional support stuffie friend named Oreo and my day job crew. The best part of the week... celebrating my 49th birthday!!

I have one more year until the big 50! Yikes! Where did the time go? As I age with grace, I am asking myself. What do I want my life to REALLY look like?

𝗪𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗜 𝗸𝗻𝗼𝘄:
In 2025, I need to slow my roll. As an Energizer bunny with a rocket strapped to it, sometimes I run hard then hit a wall. I stretch myself thin. I leave little time for myself. I start getting sad. I miss my dogs.

When that happens I know I'm just doing too much. Then I see a squirrel and start chasing a shiny object again. Hahaha It's a never ending cycle. Its just what I've always done.

𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗵𝗮𝗺𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗿 𝘄𝗵𝗲𝗲𝗹 𝘀𝘁𝗼𝗽𝘀.
𝗘𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗺𝘆 𝟱𝟬𝘀 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗺𝗲 𝗺𝗲𝗮𝗻𝘀

🐕 more adventure time and less self induced deadlines. I need to wanderlust

😁 Not stress about sales. Just enjoy the process of creating for canines. From sewing new patterns to video production on YouTube. I just like sharing fun for dogs. If it sells cuz you love what I do. Yay! If not, I'm ok too.

🫠 Priortize my health cuz body numbness, joint issues and tummy troubles have been a struggle again. I'm over it. I need to fix it.

🎓 Take the time to invest in my brain. Learn new things for no other reason than I can. As I never finished college, I'm from the school of self study and hard knocks. I have a laundry list of things I want to study.

𝗪𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗜 𝗮𝗹𝘀𝗼 𝗸𝗻𝗼𝘄:
I'm not going anywhere. I'll end the year strong then its time for me to pivot. Canine Crazies will always be... well a bit.crazy. Its what will keep me young. Hahaha.

It's just at a place where I don't give a damn anymore. Life should be authentic. So let's get extra. Do fun things... especially with our dogs. 😂

With the holiday season around the corner, it's time to crack out the Christmas spirit. Prepping for my final show of the year! The snow dogs think they are being helpful...but they really aren't. I was planning on adding this sign to our dog house or in my booth. Maybe I still should 😂 😂 😂

It's been a fabulous weekend at Witches Night Out 2024! From seeing everyone dressed in their witchy best to all the Krampus... the best part for me always are all the dogs! I'm ready for spooky season. The snow dogs costumes are ready. I can't wait!

Last weekend the snow dogs and I went on a little backyard adventure. Set up tent, a hammock and cooked outside!

Tonight we made a little sample of dog flowers made with my pets paws! Although Koda girl was much more cooperative than Bear Bear. Even with all the mess, I'm really loving how the flowers turned out. A little dog art to hang on our wall.

In collaboration with Crafty AF , we will be hosting a dog paint party as a free community event. I will also be giving away a free gift! From non toxic washable paints and paw washing stations, we will help you create dog art of your own.

⛺ 𝗟𝗲𝘁'𝘀 𝗴𝗼 𝗰𝗮𝗺𝗽𝗶𝗻𝗴! ⛺

Once a Scout Mom, always a Scout Mom. Instead of preparing for a camping trip with my children, this time it's with my fur babies! One problem. I've never been camping with my dogs. So we are going to do a little test run in the backyard. Set up tent, a hammock, firepit to cook on my dutch oven and make human and doggie s'mores.

Most importantly, I'll be releasing my newest collectios inspired by all things outdoors. A sneak peak of what's in store.

I'll be sharing all of our adventures, the recipe and a special offer Live this weekend in Canine Crazies in the Den . If this goes horribly wrong, worst case we just go inside. You never know what might happen with dogs. 😂

So let's set up tent and spend some quality time outside. 🌞

Tonight I'm working on a made to order embroidery doggie bandana set for 3 sweet foster girls. The hardest part? Figuring out the best font.

Yet, this is the fun part of crafting for canines. Taking the time to ensure the pup parents and dogs are happy. It's worth it to me to run some stitch samples to make it just right.

𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟯: After my move to WA, I wanted to find a way to keep connection with my friends in San Diego. As a result Canine Crazies in the Den, (my Facebook group) was launched. I have enjoyed it soooo much. Laughing and connecting with people around the country about the ridiculousness of dogs.

𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟰: Because the need for work/life balance, I knew I wouldn't be doing as many in person markets this year. I've done 1. Have 2 more planned. Yet, (once again) I don't want to disconnect with what I love the most. Building relationships and bonding with local dogs and the humans that love them.

𝗜'𝗺 𝗵𝗮𝗽𝗽𝘆 𝘁𝗼 𝗮𝗻𝗻𝗼𝘂𝗻𝗰𝗲...Dog Mom Madness. a meetup.com group for the Pierce County area focused on supporting each other as Dog Moms through adventures with our four legged friends. I've always LOVED Meetups as they are great ways to find people of similar interests. Even as crazy as our schedules are... we all need friends.

🚨𝗡𝗲𝘄 𝗱𝗼𝗴 𝘁𝗼𝘆 𝗮𝗹𝗲𝗿𝘁! 🚨

Double the loops...double the fun! This weekend I created a new dog toy design! Infinity ropes for endless tug time with your best friend. Weaving two of my extra large fleece ropes, I wanted to create an optical illusion with 1 primary color and 2 secondary. I'm really pleased with how they turned out.

I'm sorry Bear Bear and Koda Girl. This rope is not for you. This is going to our other doggie friends that also love to play ogether.. Don't worry, I'll make yours next. Just have to pick your favorite colors.

For 10 years I raised my family in beautiful San Diego. Trips to the beach was a regular occurrence. Although we miss it so very much, why not bring ocean-inspired bandanas to all the doggos! A little bit of summer to celebrate marine life.

It's a happy day when Polly comes home. My sewing machine has been down for 4 weeks and needed to be brought back from the dead. My spare, Esther has helped out but can't embroider like she can.

Thank you Quality Sewing and Vacuum for making her healthy again! Like always, you went above and beyond. I'm a bit behind the power curve but time to sew like a mad lady.

Today we honor all of countless of hours and resources spent to giving animals a second home. If it was not rescues, my beautiful boy Bear, would not be where he is today.

𝗗𝗶𝗱 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝗸𝗻𝗼𝘄:
National Dog Rescue Day was founded in 2018 by Lisa Wiehebrink, children’s book author and Executive Director of Tails That Teach, an organization that helps children learn the kind and proper treatment of their pets. Lisa’s inspiration for National Rescue Dog Day came from her beloved rescue dog Cooper.

Rescue dogs are a special breed. Often times overcoming hardships and challenges. Each of them have a story to tell. Yet, no matter the color, shape, side or demenure, with tenderness from strangers, these dogs can become more then they ever imagined.

𝗧𝗵𝗮𝗻𝗸 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝗺𝘆 𝗰𝗮𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗲 𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗺𝘂𝗻𝗶𝘁𝘆!

So much doggie goodness today! It warms my heart when I have an moment to meet all of the local pups. It reconnects me to my reason why I craft craft for canines. For every dog I've met, I know there is a family that loves them. If I can help bring more joy to pup parents, my mission is complete.

With over 300 pictures taken today, these are the best of the best. My favorite is always the nose pictures when some of you tried to lick my camera. (hahaha) You were all good boys and girls for sitting pretty for pictures. Even during the pouring rain, you helped me capture a moment of my journey as a small business, brought me happiness and made me smile.

Most importantly, thank you Auburn's Petpalooza for coordinating this event for our community of four legged friends. As a vendor, I appreciated all of you very much. I look forward to next year!
