UPDATE/CANCEL/ AND RESCHEDULE DATES - August Playday CANCELLED Saturday and SUNDAY. Unfortunately, we took on way more rain last night than forecasted and it continues to rain. The weather is just crazy. We are going to RESCHEDULE for September 7th & 8th. We hope that everyone will be able to join us on the rescheduled weekend.

UPDATE *******(Please read the whole message) We have made the call to cancel the Saturday Playday. This call is based on the safety of all aspects. The arena is still no standing water, but we have to account on more than just inside the arena, the outer grounds and walking areas are safety factors as well. With the current forecast for tonight and into tomorrow, we want to make sure we error on the side of caution with the unknown August rain. SUNDAY we are still a green light to go!!!!! This decision is also to ensure we have ground to run on for Sunday.

If you have registered online, I will be reaching out to you tonight to return payments.

Just to keep everyone updated. The arena has been handling the rain like a champ. That being said we are very closely monitoring the conditions and the not so nice forecast. Who would have thought stressing about rain in August 🤷🏻‍♀️. Please watch for updates as the day goes on.

What a great series. The 2024 MRC Ranch Show Buckle Series has come to an end. It has been a wonderful experience as our first ranch series. An amazing group of riders! It has been so much fun and a true honor getting to meet everyone this year, and we cannot say thank you enough to all that came and joined us this year. We have learned so much and can't wait to have Ranch Riding as a new tradition here at MRC.

Come join us for the final Ranch Riding Show of the 2024 Series. Registration online www.meridianriding.com , will close Friday at 4pm, in office registration on day of is ok. Great patterns, fun environment, with lots of great people. Daily Highpoints, Special Champion of Champions prizes this show, and we will be awarding the Series Buckles to each group.

What a weekend it was a blast!!! I was trying to think of how to best describe this past Playday weekend -
864 runs made
87 riders Saturday
79 riders Sunday
14 highpoint winners
12 poles
6 barrels
4 photographers
3 unplanned dismounts
2 birthdays
Add that all up = 100% family,friends, and horse fun !

A huge thank you to everyone who came out this weekend. And thank you to all the amazing volunteers, everyone blew us away by stepping in a helping, it means the world to us! And I have to say thank you to the coffe vendor Dancing Boots and Beans, and to the amazing photographers. Can not wait for August Playday, but this was one of the fun weekends that we have been talking about since Sunday night. We truly appreciate the support of horse community, you are what keeps us going!
