Hello Everyone,
I've received several messages lately inquiring about placing orders, which I am not currently taking in.
Just over 6 weeks ago, we had to say goodbye to our dear kitty, Murphy. He was one week shy of turning 18. He was our mischievous boy, always getting himself into trouble since we brought him and his sister home at 10 weeks old. He was such a snuggler and had the loudest purr. We battled thyroid disease, diabetes (Which he conquered twice through insulin and a strict DM diet), and pancreatitis. He was a medical nightmare, but it didn't slow him down. β€οΈ
The day after Murphy had passed, our sweet dog, Cooper, collapsed on our deck. We took him to the hospital, and it was originally thought that he was experiencing possible disc issues. Upon further tests and assessment, it was discovered that the pain he had experienced was actually pericardial effusion from what they think was a hemangiosarcoma tumor inside his heart. The pericardial sac was immediately tapped, and he was sent home to us on hospice with days to weeks left to be loved on. We rearranged our home so that we could sleep downstairs with him (We even purchased an air bed so that we could all snuggle together, and tried to keep his excitement level as contained as well as it could be. He was spoiled rotten with all the yummy foods that he loved and those that he didn't get to try before. May 15th was Scarlett's birthday, so we made sure to celebrate π₯³ π§ Later on that afternoon, we rushed him back to the emergency hospital due to Cooper showing increased symptoms and had the pericardial sac tapped again. This time, he didn't bounce back like he did prior. We were blessed to have him for an extra 5 1/2 weeks after his diagnosis/prognosis, but we had to say goodbye to Coop on May 19th. He was only 9 1/2. This has been incredibly hard on us because he was nothing but gentle, wasn't food or toy motivated, only wanted love β€οΈ, a helper boy shadow, and he was our best friend. Our hearts are broken. His absence is palpable. Our Scarlett is adjusting to the drastic changes around our home, especially since they were so bonded. We've been trying to keep her actively busy, distracted, and spoiling her with love β€οΈ
Cooper arrived to us as a puppy, during a blizzard, so I went to the fabric store, and purchased some fleece to make him a tiny coat. This was the first coat I had ever made ππΎ
