I’m assuming this girl has been sent to the pound! What a shame! She belongs to someone. Is there someone to foster? I’m not even in Quanah this week but what a tragedy to loose a dog that is someone’s family member. Perhaps they were just out of town today! Or work all day.

Older dog found out at Copper Breaks a while ago, been staying with Superintendent and family but needs to find a family. Does not care for small Childress or dogs with lots of energy. Loves to be loved and quite the couch potato! She is gorgeous for sure

This is a tough post to share. I am looking for someone to help with the Pound Pups that has a heart for animals safety and wellbeing. Someone that will eventually take over running this wonderful rescue. I’ve been doing this quite a while and feel that it’s time for me to take a step back. To be honest I feel like I’m spinning my wheels, going in circles with no exit! So much complaining but most won’t step up and help, when help is given..more complaining. That’s all I’m going to say on the matter right now. I’ll still be doing the same thing until I can find help for QPP and possibly still helping people rehome using all my contacts.

If you know anyone looking to step up and help or it’s you that has been thinking about it please contact me.

All three dogs that were dumped out by the LNC have been caught and ran a new home tonight, took a little while to catch this puppy and took four people to catch this puppy, but his new mommy got him and he is going to be just as happy as can be

So these dogs were dumped out by the livestock nutrition and the city water plant, the brown one is a boy and the black one is a female she has had puppies at some point I can’t find the puppies I don’t know where they are I would assume that they probably did not make it. I am needing an immediate foster for one or both of these dogs. The mama dog is not super friendly but once I fed and watered her, she was much happier. The little black dog is super skinny, I’m thinking these dogs have been out here for a little while, if you were willing to foster one or both of them until we can find a home that would be greatly appreciated. They are good for the night. I have fed and watered them,I don’t have any place to take them at the moment, and I don’t think I can catch the female dog, so I don’t want to take the brown dog away from her. I absolutely do not understand how people can do this to dogs.

Thank you so very much to the Masonic Lodge #689 for this beautiful Community Builder Award and all you have done to help our Quanah Pound Pups rescue. I’m so glad Clayton Michael and Reagan Agraz , Poppy and Dagger got to be there!
And as Richard Doss suggested tonight I think I’ll keep the award on my desk at work😁

FYI
if you surrender a dog to the Quanah Pound you are now required to fill out a Surrender Form, even if the dog is picked up at your home. This information is absolutely necessary in order for us to try to find the right home for the dog.

What a great day. One sweet baby taken to the vet for neuter and shots to be sent to Lost Paws in Dallas.

Another set for transport to Ohio on April 6th. So excited for Jenny Rebecca and Penny to get a new sister♥️
