The owner of our farm got into a pretty awful accident in January and broke a vertebra in his neck. Despite all this time of wearing a neck brace, it has not healed and he will need surgery. He is an older gentleman with a heart of gold and we want to ease any financial burdens so he can rest with less stress! We have awesome volunteers willing to make the dryer balls and the wonderful Beth from Sterling Wool Mill donating the processing and materials so that all proceeds can go toward him. We will make them as we get them and we can ship too, please reach out if you are interested! They will be done in time for Mother's Day!

This felted bowl (100% alpaca 😉) is one of my favorite things we are selling this weekend at our vendor show!
Everyone who has met our boy Sparta has wanted to take him home with them, so this weekend, in a way, you can! We also will have a some ornaments from his fleece available, including a few little replicates!

I wanted to share one of our coolest grey transformations! This is the animal I shared a while back, she went from white to a drastic silver grey. I know she looks fawnish but at the skin the first few months she was white! Pictures don't quite do her justice. Obviously moms harlequin genes played a part in her fun change though Dad (Fire Flight out of Peruvian Eye Candy) helped compliment with his grey genetics. Harlequins generally have spots at the very least on face, if not whole body, but a lot of ours are almost spotless. Generally they start as a fawn and change to a dark steel grey, Mystique was a little different!
I couldn't get the best fleece shot that showed the change but fun all the same+

Casually eating her breakfast and blissfully unaware she's way past her due date, pregnant not only with the first baby of the year but a heavily anticipated one and completely oblivious to the obsessive off-hour barn cam checking, the daily struggle of planning around 'if today is the day' and the now daily mantra of "I swear if you wait until the smack middle of shearing day....." 🤨
