We are a full service Hunter/Jumper show barn for riders just starting out to those showing on the Circuit. Lessons, Camps, IEA Teams & More

We offer training and showing of young hunter breeding horses & we breed/train/sell the highest quality hunters. Snapdragon Stables is owned and operated by Jamie Sullivan and located on the Eastern Shore of MD. We offer riding lessons, leasing and both full board and full-training board. Our warmblood broodmares boast foals that are registered with Oldenburg and Rheinland Pfalz-Saar and excel in hunter breeding prior to their performance careers.

We hosted our IEA Show in the COLD ❄️ A lot of teamwork went into make it a wonderful day! Congrats to everyone!
⭐️Middle School was CHAMPION and our High Point Rider was Katherine Dekowsky with a 1st and 2nd!
⭐️ High School was RESERVE and our High Point Rider was Adeline Focht with two 1sts!
⭐️ Horse of The Show was Graham!!

AGS Snowflake #5 was a great show for our riders and horses! The start of the 2025 MHSA Season was cold but everyone worked hard and our horses were great!

TRAINING BOARD OPENINGS
We offer training and starting board. We specialize in Hunter Breeding horses and would love to get your youngster shown on the line or started under saddle. If you have a horse that would benefit from 30 or 60 days of a refresher over the winter or one that needs started under saddle, this would be a perfect spot. We show heavily in Zones 2 & 3 and all of the bigger shows; Devon, Upperville, Sallie B and Warrenton, Zone 2 and 3 Finals.

One opening now and two openings in December as horses head to Fla.

Our beloved Peanut Butter has been living the high life for the past few years with Anne Thibo in her Kent Island Riding by Design program! When our group lesson format became too much, Anne embraced him as an integral part of her program. So grateful he has continued to be loved by children ❤️

We had a really fun Making Strides Halloween Show to finish out the series. Thank you Vicky, Lauren and Brandon Meyer for all of the effort put into running a great show series!
We will see you at the Banquet!

I’m so proud of how far our riders have come this season. Their horsemanship, sportsmanship and riding has really grown!

I always try to remind our riders and parents that riding is a lifetime sport and that growth and improvement isn’t always measured in ribbons. It’s never about your competition, your biggest competition is who you were yesterday and trying to make little improvements today 😊
