We picked up our first order from Zoey’s Simple Pleasures Dog Treats .
Our pups fell in love with these treats and we wanted our furry customers to enjoy them as well!
I’ve been using the training treats for my young untrained pug and it has certainly been a help with training! I cant wait to use them to reward my dogs after their grooms.
Even better these treats are made locally by a sweet family you can meet at Gateway Farmers Market on Saturdays.

I’m running to the farmers market tomorrow to pick up our first order of dog treats for our furry customers! FYI we are not making a profit on these . We are buying them from this sweet family owned business and I’m selling them at the same price I bought them .
I had an empty mini fridge that needed to be put to use !
My son and I visit this farmers market regularly. We love the local vendors and we just want to help them grow their businesses and where better then to our platform.
Eddie can’t wait to try the chicken pot pie!

My son and I went to the farmers market this morning. Olive was happy to see a dog treat booth there.
The owner was very kind and let her taste test many. Olive did not turn one down and loved them all.
She just laid back in the bag as the owner dropped them in her mouth. She gave us samples with our purchase as well!

The Journal-Sun is partnering with Lucky U Rescue to get some of the resources it desperately needs to make the Brooks Hospital facility functional again for use as an animal shelter. Rescue U is the new charity we are partnering with through August. The Journal-Sun will donate $5 from every subscription to Lucky U Rescue through August. You can also drop off your donations to Lucky U Rescue at the Journal-Sun office.

Millie is a young female ready for her forever home. She is athletic, sweet, great with other dogs and kids. Not cat tested. She would make a great companion for a busy home and a chill laid back home as well. She is spayed , fully vaccinated and healthy and available through a local rescue Atlanta, Texas Area Spay/Neuter Project Millie has been enjoying her stay and furry friends at Eddie’s for a few months but she would love a home to call her own . He’s a little over a year old , neutered,heart worm negative, and fully vaccinated. Other then that she’s a amazing normal dog . She’s is very smart . She is from a private rescue out of texarkana . For an application stop in at our shop during hours to fill out a paper application! I usually have people message me on sundays with worries about over flowing water 😂. Here’s a quick demonstration. If your ever in the dog wash late at night or on a Sunday and see that water is coming up . Lift the black tray and pull the hair traps to unclog hair . We are good about taking care of it during business hours and can only check it a couple times on Sundays during our check ins .
