Let’s get your dog ready for Halloween! 1. If they are nervous or overly friendly of people, have them on place in your house and have treats ready for door knocks and bell 2. Having the leash on them during trick or treating hours to be consistent 3. DONT SCARE YOUR DOG WITH YOUR MASK 4. If your dog is nervous of this holiday because of the masks don’t take them trick or treating with y’all 5. Take them on a walk before trick or treating hours. 6. Give them something to do like a bone, interactive toy, train them during it, etc
I always have people wonder if their dog will remember them after our board and train program. Of course they will! If they see you and don’t act like it at first once they smell you they act like this! Every time Kyle comes home from work our dogs are always so happy to see him ❤️
Our reactive group class went great! All these dogs have gone through training with me and we are working on their handlers skills when the dogs react. If your dog has reactivity it will always be there but it’s absolutely manageable. Sometimes you might not see it for a full year and bam at a certain time it will get triggered. Its ok because this class helps get you better with your handling skills. Unfortunately my second had to get rescheduled due to rain but this one went awesome.

Everyone has that one dog that is their soul dog or heart dog. Since the day I got Nova she has always been by my side and won’t ever leave it. I try to make my life around my dogs like going to dog friendly patios, hiking, walks, anywhere they are allowed so I can spend more time with them. They aren’t here long on this plant, they are here for a part of your life and we are here for their entire life.
Buddy came to us pretty fear reactive towards people. He also had a lot of fear in just weird things around him, like bags flying, something bumping his booty, etc. After being with us for 3 weeks he can now walk around in public without lunging and barking. He will always have the fear of people in him but it’s a work in progress and now his family will have the tools to control him on walks and in public. #aussiedoodle #doodle

We love having our dogs join us for dinner, movie time, parties etc. but we don’t love them jumping, begging, counter surfing. So we teach place instead of putting them up. Some dogs take longer than others to love to learn place but it’s great for them to learn to relax. Don’t give up after 10 mins if they want to give up 🐶🐶
