We made it to Nauvoo after 10 awesome days at the MTC. On our way to Nauvoo we were able to stop in SLC and have lunch with our grandson Elder Tillison Miller. It was so nice to see him! We live in a beautiful place where we can walk out our front door to see the horses grazing in the pasture across the street. On our 1st official day of giving tours we were at the oxen experience and it rain all day and we even had the tornado sirens go off all afternoon. Being dumb kids from Arizona we wanted to see what a tornado looked like so we stood outside watching to see if we could see one. The storm passed and we never saw a funnel, gratefully. The next day I gave tours in the newly acquire Homestead and Mansion house. What a sacred place and I am so very grateful for the Community of Christ and the way they took such great care of them. I enjoy talking to my cousin who served at the Joseph Smith sites back in 1981. Today we served on the wagon ride around historic Nauvoo. Again, it was pretty cold for this warm blooded Arizonan. It was fun to be with Brian as he drove the horses. It seems like we have been losing a few things. Brian lost his gloves and a site book, which we found, but the most embarrassing thing that was lost were my bloomers as they came down right in front of the Mansion House. Good thing it was at the end of the day so nobody knew, at least I hope so.
