We live on 5 acres of land and are attempting the start of self sustainability. Most people don't like the thought of eating their own animals, so I will say it now, we eat our animals. If you don't like it then this life style is not for you and you should probably not keep reading... We want to learn to live a humble life.. We eat what we grow, animals and vegetables. We are also in the process

of learning medicinal herbs and how to use them. One day we wish to have this life style set to where we no longer have to rely on society for what we need. On this page you can watch us go through our journey, you can give us advice or just see if its a life you would like to start your self. We will be posting photos and items for sale. Weather it be the animals them self, meat, eggs, veggies, or even hand made items. A list of animals we have at the moment:
7 pygmy/fainting cross goats
4 nubian goats
2 bore goats
4 soay sheep
18 ducks
10 chickens
9 rabbits
9 peafowls (the only animal we do not eat)

Stocking up on our poultry. We've got mixed ducks and muscovy ducks. Golden laced wynadette, cochin, turken, and bantam chickens. Black, white and meat turkeys. Pheasants, guineas, and quails. Hopefully this time around we can keep the preditors away.

We have never had a problem in the years past busy this year stink bugs have starting taking over out garden. So today I am making an all natural pesticide to try to get rid of theses little buggers. Hopefully it works!..
