Island Events every weekend in July fun sun bands and DJs come visit the island with us this year! Corn Roast is Always The LAST weekend in JULY.

Saturday has turned into a amazing fun day for Kids with hullahoop, and other fun contests and even a petting zoo right on the island! Sunday remains very similar to the Original Cornroast started many years ago, and is more geared towards a 21 and up crowd with fun events, skits and contests such as biggest bear belly, baldest head and of course the hot body contest

Started in 1985 when 5 friend

s got together near the island and grilled and roasted corn �. The event has slowly grown over the years and 2020 would have been the 35th annual event however do to gathering covid mandates, we will be celebrating our 35th annual in 2021!

It is with great sadness that we are officially announcing that after 36 consecutive years and 19 years with our partnership with Joel Gresham , Mid Michigan Entertainment and Cornisland Quincy We will not be hosting hotboats, bands or the annual corn roast for 2023 season! We hope to be able move forward in the future however! Thank you Dale, Darren, Joel & countless others for for all your help making this the best summer event for decades!

We will keep you updated once we have any updates regarding future events! Please also follow Mid Michigan Entertainment for other events across Michigan including Raft-O-Rama Clarklake.

(The island and boat slips per will not be available for access)

Good Morning!
Its finally here.... the weekend we've all been waiting for!
Popcorn Roast (Kids Day) is Saturday July 30th.... entertainment will be provided by DJ Bro D.... Games & prizes (starting at 1:00) made possible by your generous donations!
Corn Roast (Adult Only) is Sunday , July 31st as always entertainment will be provided by DJ Joel, Mid Michigan Entertainment (This will amazingly be his 19th year!!)
Music starting at 10ish with the National anthem & service-men/women recognition at noon.
Come see the Tiki Hut Crew for food, tshirts & non-alcoholic refreshments. And yes, delicious sweet corn will also be available. 🌽

35th Annual Corn 🌽 Roast may have been one of the best ever!

Our annual salute to the military and our national anthem to start the day!

..And that party has officially started redneck style 🤠

................ 35th Annual Corn 🌽 Roast!................. We’re BACK!!!! After a very long 2020 and taking our time getting all our ducks 🦆 🦆 🦆 in a row! We have finally made the decision to hang out with you and a thousand of our closest friends, at the Marble Lake Sandbar with our long running Mid Michigan Entertainment to help MC the event! Sunday, July 25th plan on fun, contests and the best variety of music ever! For those that don’t know here is the history of the event: “Started in 1985 when 5 friends got together near the island where they grilled hotdogs & roasted corn 🌽. The event has slowly grown over the years and 2020 would have been the 35th annual event however do to, no gathering covid mandates, we were sadly forced to abandon the celebration and we will be celebrating our 35th annual gathering in 2021!” (Video 2016)
