Howdy yall. I'm Randal owner of Howdy Hounds, and the person your pet will probably see. A little about me, I've had a hand in somesort of animal care taking for my entire life. Whether that be at my family's business Jane's Pampered Pets, or in Austin Texas working at Austin Veterinary Emergency & Specialty Center, with at the wonderful Matthew's Veterinary Service in the Austin area, and now at Animal Medical Clinics of Quincy.
I've been in the animal industry for over 10 years!
Ive had this business for the past year and am thankful for my regulars and the people who help and trust in me to take care of their furry family.

I've had a lot of questions recently, yes I am still taking clients for pet sitting and training. The work I do at Animal Medical Clinics of Quincy doesnt affect your walk times.

Howdy Yall, I wanted to share a good informative post from a great place I used to work for. It's hot so be careful with your pets!

Summer is here and it is HOT! 🥵 Know the signs of heat stroke and protect your pet from this emergency medical condition.

Signs of heat stroke include:
🌡️Excessive panting
🌡️Excessive drooling
🌡️Difficulty breathing
🌡️Vomiting
🌡️Diarrhea, with or without blood
🌡️Weakness
🌡️Incoordination or stumbling
🌡️Sudden collapse
🌡️Seizures

If your pet is experiencing signs of heat stroke, contact Austin Veterinary Emergency & Specialty at 512-343-2837 immediately. We are open 24/7 for you and your pets.

Howdy everyone! Meet Simon! He is an African Grey Parrot native to the Congo. Simon loves whistling and snacks. African Greys are infamous for being very clever and chatty.
