Tusa is a handsome 2-year-old tuxedo cat who was found as a stray. He is still having a hard time adjusting to indoor shelter life, if he doesn't get fed frequently, he will let you know using his mouth and claws. Tusa would do well in a cat savvy home with no small children, perhaps a playful kitty companion would be in the cards for him.

Tusa's adoption fee is $225.

Furry Flashbacks! Celebrating 25 years of Quincy Animal Shelter.

Here is a photo of Finn. We adopted him in September 2022 ( he was Shine). He is a happy guy and a great brother to our two other dogs!
He has become our favorite protector and cuddle bug!! He’s a Love! ❤️

Nancy is a beautiful and sassy 13 year old girl looking for a quiet home to rest her paws. Since arriving at the shelter she has been reserved and hesitant, only accepting pets in small doses. She will make it known when she’s done with interactions by giving you a swipe with her paw. Nancy would thrive with people who will give her as much time as she needs to adjust and don’t mind if takes her a while. Underneath her tough exterior, we know there’s a sweet and affectionate girl in there. Nancy’s adoption fee is $125.

PENDING ADOPTION 🐾

Jack is an energetic, fun, and loving 1 year old husky. He loves to play, especially with other dogs and can be tuckered out pretty quickly from the dog park. He has never barked or growled at other dogs or people during walks but is very curious and will want to greet them. He has done well with kids of various ages. He loves to chase bunnies and squirrels, and we think he would do ok with cats but would need an owner and cat who can be patient with him getting used to a new environment. Jack also loves long walks, and as a husky would do best with a fenced in yard (though his owner did not have one and substituted the lack of one by taking many walks and bringing him to the dog park). He has lovely manners but is a typical husky so mouthing in play and jumping comes with the territory. Are you ready for an awesome best friend? Jack's adoption fee is $375.

Emmy is sweet 2 year old all black cat. She is a bit timid at first but warms up quickly if treats are involved. She loves to be pet is a very sweet girl. Due to her timid nature, we think a relatively quiet home would be the best for her. She has lived with other cats and would likely do well with another cat in the home to help her come out of her shell even more! Emmy's adoption fee is $225
