UPDATE: OWNERS FOUND!

Ok Quincy! Someone’s out of shape sled dog team showed up Alpha Dog this morning! If you are missing these dogs, they are safe. We will be notifying animal control as we can’t keep them here without their vaccination records. None of them are wearing collars. 2 black and white and 2 cinnamon huskies, please spread the word.

Ya, me too ❤️

Well I may be 62 but I feel 20 years younger now after going from 236 to 141 all after finding this little-known “Exotic Rice Method” …

I was having dinner with my friend Jen when she told me about a video she came across while scrolling.

That’s how she found out about this “rice method” that only takes 10 seconds in her morning routine.

I didn’t really believe her at first. But she was gushing about it and I couldn’t argue with her transformation.

She looked amazing by the way. I mean, Jen definitely didn’t look like this before…

So I figured ok I might as well try it.

I mean, I tried so many different things over the years. At least this “rice method” was very simple and easy to fit in to my routine.

Well let me tell you, just this morning I was trying on a swimsuit that I haven’t even dared to LOOK at in years…

I feel like I did in my 30s. That kind of playful, happy me, without a care in the world.

I thought that old me was gone forever…

If you watch the video, you’ll see what I mean. This “rice method" isn’t about exercising or watching everything I eat.

It’s much simpler than that. And it works for me, that’s the main thing!~

I’m just hoping Jen will see this when she’s scrolling, because I want to say the biggest THANK YOU to her for sharing it with me.

I’m just passing it on so others know about it.

Happy Independence Day from all of us Alpha Dog!!

We just wanted to throw out a few helpful hints for all our furry friends. Some things you can do to help your pet feel safer this holiday is to get plenty of exercise during the day, tired dogs feel calmer. Get a size appropriate crate which shouldn’t be much bigger than your dog. Put your crate in the basement or interior room of your home. Insulate the crate further from sound by placing the crate on carpet, or a thick blanket or rug. Place a large comforter, or blanket over top of your crate leaving the front open for ventilation. Create some back ground noise to drown out exterior noise by turning on a box fan, tv, or radio. Also potty your dog on a leash and well fitting collar, do this before it gets darks, do not take your dog out to potty in the middle of prime time firework hours. Have your dog in its safe place before fireworks begin. Please do not take your dog to see the fireworks, just because it doesn’t bother them now, does not mean they can not develop a phobia, dogs and fireworks do not mix! Be safe out there friends!!

Havanese Puppies!

The puppies are getting big! Today they moved into their new puppy area with doggie door access so when they are ready they will be learning to go outside and go potty. Today was also their first day trying big kid food!

Havanese puppies 1 week old today!

These little piglets are wasting no time when it comes to the milk bar! ❤️ luckily puppies are born with no teeth so no mommies were harmed in the making of this film 😉

Unfortunately we lost one little puppy. It’s not uncommon in large litters. 😞 We do have 7 puppies that are doing great. Everyone is eating, and pooping, and wiggling all around. Paisley is a rockstar mom! We have 5 boys and 2 girls. ❤️

One of the things that happen right before mama dogs have their babies is they start nesting. When dogs nest they root around in their bedding flipping it all around. This is why Paisley only has one towel in her bed. She will continue nesting sometimes even after a few puppies have arrived. If there is big bedding available the puppies can get trapped inside and suffocate. After all the puppies have arrived she will get her good bed back. The next sign we are looking for is heavy panting. Hopefully she will hold off for another hour so I can get the rest of the dogs taken care of!! Puppies being born videos, coming soon!!
