Merry Christmas from Little Boy!! Due to behavioral / medical issues Little Boy is not adoptable. We are committed to not euthanizing unless it is the most humane option (ie terminal illness) so Little Boy belongs to us at Homeward Bound Waggin. Though he isn't available for adoption he does deserve to have a Merry Christmas as well. As long as needed Little Boy will be safe with us and will enjoying many more Christmas mornings we are sure!

Merry Christmas from Mario!! Mario is approximately 1.5 yrs old and so, so fun!!! He is like a fun size candy bar! He doesn't stop wiggling, loves everyone and wants to be a part of every adventure with you!! Since Mario just came in a few days before Christmas he wasn't able to be a part of the Santa list. The other dogs on the list graciously gave Mario some of their gifts so he could have a Merry Christmas as well! Mario would like to say thank you to everyone who donated to his Christmas gifts! Merry Christmas from Louie! This fun and outgoing guy is ALWAYS down for a game of fetch! although he may get distracted by the prospect of cuddles on the couch. This boy is GO, GO, GO and would love an active owner who can keep up with him and his adventures. He loves low walks (although he is working on his leash manners and improving every week with the help of our trainer), meeting every stranger on the trail, and of course mid hike snacks. Merry Christmas from Logic! Logic spent a few weeks with a professional trainer and was an absolute delight in the house. He didn't get into things, he got along with all the other dogs, he was quiet in his kennel. appears to be potty trained (keep in mind he is still a puppy so continued training is important), doesn't chew on furniture, etc... He is just an all-around great guy. Logic has a goofy personality and loves to play fetch and tug, as well train and work for food. He is a smart boy and picks up on new skills very quickly. One of the silliest things he does is that he loves carrying around a toy when he goes for a walk, the trick is convincing him to leave the toy outside when it's time to come in! Compared to his brother and sister he is on the shy side and takes a moment to get to know new people and will need someone willing to go slow and continue his training and socialization. Merry Christmas from Ellie! With a nickname like "cattle dork," you KNOW this girl is full of spunk! She is exactly what you would expect out of a ACD x Hound mix, full of life and goofiness! Ellie would love a home where she has a yard to run and play fetch in, goes on long walks (she is FANTASTIC on a leash!), and gets LOTS of cuddles (this girl seriously gives the best snuggles). She loves to work for food and learn new skills through training. Hope you have a good throwing arm because this girl will put it to work! Merry Christmas from Jerry! Or as we like to call him, Judgmental Jerry because his favorite hobby is to sit on his thrown and judge everyone around him. Jerry came to us around 18mo old as a puppy mill/ backyard breeder dump, after living in a small "breeder hutch" his whole life. As you can imagine this has caused him to be very nervous and unsure about the world. He takes a while to warm up, but he is slowly learning to trust the people in his life. Jerry will need a home that is very calm, quiet, and understanding of his lack of confidence and life experience. Merry Christmas from Lucy! Lucy is a senior girl. We don't know exactly how old she is but we are estimating 13+ yrs old. Lucy is also deaf. She is very sweet and give her canned food and you will be friends for life. Lucy does need to be the only pet in the home. She is a bit of a diva. Merry Christmas from Bruno!! Bruno is a very large, young, and energetic Lab/ Coonhound mix and will need an active home willing to keep up with his boisterous personality. He would be a fantastic running, hiking, or even biking partner. He is currently enrolled in our Basic Manners Shelter Dog class and will absolutely need to continue his training to be the best version of himself. While he is good with kids when out and about, because of his size and energy he would do best in a home with kids no younger than 8. Old enough to not be easily knocked down on accident. Bruno's special need is he does have food allergies. He has been on Taste of The Wild Salmon for several months now with very good success. Chance's Christmas 2024

Merry Christmas from Chance! Chance is 4.5 yrs old, has the cutest squishy face and wants nothing more than to cuddle with you on the couch. He hands down wins the best and biggest smile. He has a facial expression for everything!! He has some of the funniest quirks we have ever seen. Give him a treat he doesn't like, and he will squeeze his mouth shut as tight as he can with the most hilarious look on his face. He LOVES to play! Tug, fetch, wrestling with his favorite people, if you have a good game, he will love you for life! With that said he is a victim of being taken away from his mother and siblings too young and as a result does not have very good social skills with other dogs. Chance does need to be the only pet in the home. He will need an experienced owner, someone dedicated to meeting his needs and continuing his training. He has been working with a professional trainer and has come a LONG way in both his confidence, manners, and his ability to be around other dogs.
