Today marks the 30th anniversary of Mike’s. Big thanks goes out to Mike and Charlene Samanie for taking the leap and getting this thing started. Over these three decades, we have many people that need to be thanked and sadly I can’t list every name for sake of this post being tremendously long. For starters, thanks to every employee that has helped us along the way. Without them, Mike’s would’ve never been able to grow into what we are today.

And most importantly, THANK YOU to every customer that has allowed Mike’s to take care of your pest control needs. Without you, there would be no Mike’s. From the 1-time customers, to the ones that have been, and are still here today, from day 1!!

Today marks 26 years that Mike’s termite and pest control has been in business. Due to the current situation our doors are closed but we do have personnel answering the phone and we have some employees on the road right now taking care of any outdoor problems. We believe in the safety of our employees and definitely our customers. We want to thank all of our customers who have helped make these 26 years so special. We appreciate everyone of you. UPDATE to yesterday’s post: after careful consideration for the safety of our customers as well as our employees we have decided to close our office until further notice. We will however be taking calls in case there are swarming termites or other pest that may become a serious problem. A customer of ours, who lives behind St Anne Hospital in Raceland, got home to find this on their door. This is placed on every door in an area when a positive is found in samples of mosquitos taken. Take steps to prevent the spread of diseases by mosquitos, including West Nile and Zika.
