RW GroomX Grooming Competition & Expo was a fantastic weekend. A huge shout out to all the sponsors, vendors and the Owensboro convention center for putting on a great show! Vera and I took our first 1st placement in the ring!! I am truly at a loss for words on this one. I have worked diligently toward this milestone for 2.5 years now and to see it pay off like this is nothing short of incredible. I’m so thankful for friends who got pics and videos of our moment. Taking first also put me in the running for a Best in Show award. I didn’t get that award, but It was an honor just to be able to stand up on stage next to 3 amazing groomers. I also competed Nova in freestyle. We didn’t place but she sure was cute! All in all, it was a great weekend full of great people, new friends, and fantastic experiences. I can’t wait til next year’s show!!
