RPFSportHorses located in Raeford next to the Five Points Horse Park, currently has a few spots open for new students. We specialize in dressage and eventing. Students learn proper care and handling of horses along with riding. Lessons are an hour long.

RPFSportHorses has a few open spots for beginner students. We are a multifaceted facility located in Raeford NC with a firm background in Dressage. All disciplines are offered from Breed Shows, Dressage and Eventing. Lessons are $45 an hour. Students not only learn how ride but also how to groom, tack and untack and all around general horse care.

One, two, three wins today. Addison Pierce and Ethan stepped down a level as she made a come back to Warhorse after dislocating her knee in May. A confidence building stadium and cross country was what they needed and the 22 in dressage had Ads and Ethan finishing 1st!
Tony and Sherry Smith’s Good girl Pearl had a lovely dressage test, scoring a 25. Fortunately Cj had a rail in hand as she sat a bit early and dropped a rail in stadium. Cross country was a blast and they finished First as well!
Courtney Bauer came back in the afternoon and showed under one of our favorite judges, Sue Smithson. Christy and Joe Gavin Gunpowder and Pb brought home their best 2nd one score yet with a 72% for a first place finish in the first, second and third levels combined dressage classes. Sheldons first attempt at second 3 scored a 66.9. Damn turn on the haunches….😆 but her score was good enough for third!

Got to do some bragging on Madison Grae Dwyer. Madison and her mom Winston Dwyer are in Ohio at Arabian Sport horse Nationals. There are approximately 900 entries at this show this year! Yesterday I got a call from Madison to tell me she scored a 67.08 for a fantastic Third place in a field of 25! Champion score was a 67.8, reserve a 67.3 and Madison and Merc a 67.08. And folks that included Mercury’s signature buck and change during his serpentine, 🙄😆, naughty boy! So proud of your sitting, so proud of your turnout, so proud of Mercury. Just so darn proud ❤️

National champion! Congratulations to Winston and Magicaul Powers! She ended up with a 67% in Arabian First Level 3 AAOTR.

June Buckhorn was a success!
Sherry Smith and Tony Demetrius Smith’s Good Girl Pearl finished on their dressage score for the win at Maiden. Pearl also scored the best CT score of all CT’s for the day! Congratulations guys.
Christy and Joe Gavin’s Gunpowdr and Pb showed First 2 scoring an impressive 72.4. To my knowledge this is Sheldon’s first time showing straight dressage. Although he finished third, the judge, Elizabeth Moore commented that this was one of the nicest classes of First level horses she had ever judged. Sheldon also showed Second 1 for a score of 68.9! An impressive score for any pony at second level!
