Ranger loaded ok he had a hiccup and didn’t want to go in but eventually he loaded then he was great for the rest of the night! He is doing amazing with new things!

Ranger is doing amazing with trailering! He is really gentle and easy to load! He walks and wish’s amazing, and backs great!

Picked up all four feet! He did amazing today. And we worked on messing with his feet while being up so we can trim his hooves!

Introduced Ranger to a saddle pad,he did amazing! I walked him with it on as well he is doing great with training!

We worked on walking, woahing, backing, and I braided his hair. I also got him used to things hanging by his face so we can start getting fly masks on him!

Introduced Ranger to a flag today. I brushed out his whole body with two different brushes, brushed his mane and lifted his front feet.

Pet ranger with four hands and worked on backing, walking, woahing, and yealding. I also pet him all across his body with a curry!

We worked on haltering and leading, backing, yealding the hind quarters, and standing above him. He did amazing was a little reactive to standing above him but got over it quick!

Day 5, Even though Ranger got his halter off I could still approach him. We were still working on approach and retreat.

Hayden is working on building trust with ranger.
This guy was a little more fearful when being approached and started to show slight signs of agression when he was in the pin training. So we took a step back and worked on getting Ranger comfortable with being approached and moved his feet when he offered to be naughty.
By the end of the section, hayden was able to walk up and love on ranger.

After a successful day Hayden was able to get the tag off of his horse. He is no longer Tag #7670, he is now known as Ranger.

Hayden got to touch his horse in the first few moments of entering the pin.
His horse is curious and kind. Allowing him to get the first touched in moments after meeting eachother.

TODAY IS PICK UP DAY!!!!

My trainer Hayden along with his family are coming to get me at the St. Paul Rodeo Fairgrounds tonight at 6pm.
I get 2 friends to make the trip home with as well. This summer will be so much fun!

My name is Hayden Passmore. I am 15 years old and this will be my first year competing in this challenge.

I will be working with a really cool 2 year old Black Pinto from the South Steens HMA.

Tag # 7670

This guy is already 14.2 HH and is listed as more whoa then go. I am excited to work with him as a teen trainer competing in the in hand division for this challenge.

This means that in September this guy will have 100 days of in hand ground work training (NO RIDING) done on him. He will be actioned off for someone to adopt and finish his training as he grows. I am looking forward to competing and showcasing my horse to the best of our abilities.
